The staff on reception were excellent! So friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond! Daniel on reception was so kind and gave recommendations to us, such a warm welcome! Also, there is a little treasure chest in reception for the children to chose a little toy from and it made my two children SO happy! They were so excited each day to look inside and it made their stay for them.

I think the plunge pool should be a little better advertised as we only found out about it when we were leaving, which was disappointing as the only thing missing from our stay was a swimming pool to enjoy. Also, the valet parking (although nice) is an unusual experience for British people who aren’t used to this and I did feel a little rushed at times to get out of the car and to unpack the bags on arrival. I would have preferred an option to park it myself.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. We had a nice view. The restaurant was amazing.

The room we booked was not ready when we arrived at 3:30 even though I contacted the hotel who confirmed a 3pm arrival was fine. The room had a specific view that we paid extra for. At 5pm the room was still not ready so we took another room. The person helping us gave a lot of unclear double talk about why the room wasn't ready.

Location was perfect, there is a free parking place 2 streets north from the hotel! On 4th street !

Our stay at Huntley Santa Monica was truly enjoyable. The location is unbeatable – just a short walk to the Santa Monica Pier, beach, and plenty of shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The neighborhood feels very safe, which added to our comfort during evening strolls. Another big plus was the convenient parking options, which made coming and going stress-free, especially for a busy area like Santa Monica. The hotel itself offered a stylish and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for both rest and exploration. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Paying $70 a day for valet parking

The hotel is spotless and beautiful. Rooms are modern and beds super comfortable. Great location and the staff was fantastic. I loved it & recommend it. The $68/night parking fee for mandatory valet is steep though. It really should be no more than $40. Or just build it into the price of the room because it does leave the only bad taste. 1 block from the beach. The penthouse restaurant is stunning views. Breakfast might be the best ive ever had and their happy hour prices were great. Their dinner menu was ok for the price. We did a flat bread that had almost no taste & the $30 gnocchi was not much of a portion lol. No bread for the table. Go for breakfast or happy hour so you dont walk out with a $300 bill with one round of drinks. But the rooms are absolutely beautiful. Would stay again and just maybe find our own overnight parking garage or something.

We had a double queen room with view of the ocean and although there was a building blocking some it, it was a nice view. The beds were very comfortable and the room was equipt with everything you might need. We really liked that the window opened enough to hear the waves and get some fresh air. The cafe downstairs was terrific and carried healthy snacks. The valets were on top of it as we went in and out a number of times through the day. All of the staff was kind and helpful. We will stay here again.

Only thing is the intense smell of the lobby, although if it was dulled down a bit it would be nice, it was so strong it gave my husband a headache and he would run out as sson as we hit the lobby. Also, the elevators were quite slow as there were only two for our area and stopped to pick people up as they do.

We had the best time celebrating our anniversary at Hotel Huntley! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so special. They upgraded our room to a suite, which was such a wonderful surprise. The room was beautiful, super spacious, and had an incredible view. To make our stay even better, they sent champagne and a cheese plate to our room—such a thoughtful touch! Later, when we had dinner at The Penthouse Restaurant, we were surprised with a delicious dessert and sweet congratulations from the staff. It really made our night feel extra special. Everything about our stay was just perfect. The service was warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt so personal. We’re so grateful for the amazing hospitality and can’t wait to come back!
