The staff on reception were excellent! So friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond! Daniel on reception was so kind and gave recommendations to us, such a warm welcome! Also, there is a little treasure chest in reception for the children to chose a little toy from and it made my two children SO happy! They were so excited each day to look inside and it made their stay for them.

I think the plunge pool should be a little better advertised as we only found out about it when we were leaving, which was disappointing as the only thing missing from our stay was a swimming pool to enjoy. Also, the valet parking (although nice) is an unusual experience for British people who aren’t used to this and I did feel a little rushed at times to get out of the car and to unpack the bags on arrival. I would have preferred an option to park it myself.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. We had a nice view. The restaurant was amazing.

The room we booked was not ready when we arrived at 3:30 even though I contacted the hotel who confirmed a 3pm arrival was fine. The room had a specific view that we paid extra for. At 5pm the room was still not ready so we took another room. The person helping us gave a lot of unclear double talk about why the room wasn't ready.

Location was perfect, there is a free parking place 2 streets north from the hotel! On 4th street !

Beautiful room, clean and bright. Good AC. Great location about 1/2 block from the beach. My room had a partial ocean view which was nice.

I wasn’t sure what the $25 resort/amenity fee was for, since the hotel really didn’t have any extra amenities. But what annoyed me the most is the fact that you could be charged a $25 “restocking fee” if you happened to move any items in the mini bar - even if you never consumed it. There was a sign that confusingly said the minibar items will be “weight censored” and you shouldn’t store any items in the minibar fridge. when I called to check, they told me that even picking an item up and not putting it down within X seconds would incur a restocking fee. this is the most ridiculous and outrageous thing I’ve ever heard.

We had a double queen room with view of the ocean and although there was a building blocking some it, it was a nice view. The beds were very comfortable and the room was equipt with everything you might need. We really liked that the window opened enough to hear the waves and get some fresh air. The cafe downstairs was terrific and carried healthy snacks. The valets were on top of it as we went in and out a number of times through the day. All of the staff was kind and helpful. We will stay here again.

Only thing is the intense smell of the lobby, although if it was dulled down a bit it would be nice, it was so strong it gave my husband a headache and he would run out as sson as we hit the lobby. Also, the elevators were quite slow as there were only two for our area and stopped to pick people up as they do.

We had the best time celebrating our anniversary at Hotel Huntley! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so special. They upgraded our room to a suite, which was such a wonderful surprise. The room was beautiful, super spacious, and had an incredible view. To make our stay even better, they sent champagne and a cheese plate to our room—such a thoughtful touch! Later, when we had dinner at The Penthouse Restaurant, we were surprised with a delicious dessert and sweet congratulations from the staff. It really made our night feel extra special. Everything about our stay was just perfect. The service was warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt so personal. We’re so grateful for the amazing hospitality and can’t wait to come back!

Nice spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, nice view from the 8th floor. We went to the penthouse restaurant and it exceeded our expectations! Not only is the food very good, you also get almost 360 degrees views including the ocean side, LA downtown, and mountains. That was an amazing experience.

It was a bit loud and there was a weird smell in the corridor during the first day of our stay. We stayed twice in this hotel and the first time the room was not as clean and new as the second time. So I am rating this as 8/10. The second time was definitely 9/10.
