The staff was very friendly, I needed a Band-Aid for a blister from all the walking we did and they were able to give me a few. The coffee shop is overpriced but very good coffees/snacks! The pool/chill area is amazing! Such a cute area to sit back and relax. The beach was so nice with the fishing dock close by for something extra to explore. The tiki bar was the best! The servers are so friendly and make the best drinks and the food was so good! I liked how even tho the restaurant was closed, they still served food outside. Oh and the staff when you first arrived was so nice, they helped load our bags and even opened/closed the car doors for us. Definitely excited to come back after the renovations are done to see the final look! :)

The room definitely needed an upgrade, ours smelled like smoke but staff was able to come spray our room which helped. The bathrooms had mild mould on the tiles. There was no breakfast which was disappointing but lots of places in walking distance. The day beds where not free to use… you had to pay for them which is annoying as you already pay a resort fee… We where of the Reno’s going on so we understood that.

This hotel is the only hotel we have ever found that had two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a pullout sofa bed and three tv’s so everyone could watch what they wanted. This was a trip with my sister and her adult daughter. One bedroom overlooked the pool and had a nice ocean view too. In addition we had a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker so it had everything we needed. The pool was beautiful and the staff was helpful and courteous. We were extremely pleased with our stay and highly recommend it. The only thing you need to know is there is a resort fee and valet parking fee that is added on so it adds about $60 per night.

The resort fee and valet parking fee was somewhat unexpected, and if you want to self park you have to park across a busy street.

Great location, nice hotel. There were additional charges per night and I wish I would’ve known ahead when I booked it. They said it was to cover for the beach chairs and towels but not all chairs were covered with that fee so we ended up paying additional for some. Overall we had a good time.

We really liked the pool and beach area

Room was a little dated but overall good. We weren’t aware until the last day that hotel guests had 2 complimentary beach chairs per room so that would have been nice to know earlier. Also a copy of the forms signed at check in would have been nice to review as it had some details about the property included

The refrigerator in our room had been turned off and smelled bad. Your staff took care of it however and brought a different refrigerator. We had no cups or glasses in the room, but your staff brought them as well. They should have been there without us asking. Would have been nice to have coffee in the room.

Beautiful property front desk workers are great u get beach chairs and beach towels super nice hotel..

The rooms are not clean they need to train housekeepers to do a better job of cleaning! I ask for a vacuum cleaner they told me no go to the front desk!!! the floor was really nasty.

The location.

Parking cost & parking lot was across the street. We were woken up at 5am by a domestic dispute that we had to call front desk to call 911 & send security as there was a female screaming in the hallway for help & getting beat & drug to her room. It continued through the morning. We were exhausted. No staff came to check on us or offer late check in.

Loved how the property was right by the water, with the ocean view! The pool was heated and the staff were very friendly and helpful!

The property needs major updates in the rooms..they are outdated. Needs to be deep cleaned because there was mold in the shower, sheets were dirty and I had pink eye for the whole stay.

the rooms are a bit outdated, and they can really change the old carpets in the rooms. Overall, its good value for money, pool and beach is amazing, good gym, buzt the carpets in the room ruin it... hope they willl do something about it soon :)

Newport is amazing. Everything is within walking distance, pool, beach, food, etc. Beach was always clean and staff took really good care of us. Magglio at the coconut bar inside newport beach is the reason we will be coming back! Thank you Magalio for treating us so good!

Construction of the new kitchen and addition was being worked on but they kept the noise down and clean . Can't wait to see it when it's complete
