The food is absolutely disgusting at the pool restaurant and coffee bar. Coffee good but croissants cardboard. Food was lacking ingredients, thrown together. Seared Ahi was a frozen piece of Ahi microwaved. Not seared and rubber. Obvious that the workers couldn’t care less. $75.00 in the trash!

the view was spectacular. we saw a whale from the balcony, the bed and pillows were nice. the bathroom supplies were generous. we also made leis for a birthday dinner we had at the beach house restaurant. the pool staff guided is the the Poipu beach where the sea turtles were located at sunset.

the food was okay. not much to write home about. the check in was nice but they forgot to provide us with all of the paperwork (places to eat, maps of the area, the scratch off for points or a free cruise).

The room on the beach wing was great due to easy access and viewing of the beach situation. Watching surfers was almost daily in the afternoon. Very clean and very good food! Excellent staff in every location, from the front desk to the restaurant servers and hostesses and the cleaning crew! Our room overlooked the Luau so we got to watch the whole show for free!! Fantastic!

Our room was 2224 near the end of the property. When we came in we used the bathroom facilities in our room which immediately we noticed the smell of skunk weed…this was the whole time we were there. It never dissipated and it was strong! I am all for people doing what they want but we found it offensive in our own room so we kept the BR door shut the whole time. Never mentioned to staff since our door handle to the patio slider fell off one night and we had maintenance in our room when we returned from dinner. So, I’m sure they smelled it too. Also the bed was uncomfortable for the price of the room.

Your booking did not provide a dollar value for fees and taxes, just a list of percentages of additional fees and taxes. This is manipulative and extremely poor customer service regarding truth in booking a reservation. The other two resorts we stayed at in Kauai listed the percentages and dollar value for these fees. No excuse for you not doing the same other than to try to hide the actual dollar value of fees and taxes from the otherwise very hefty overprice you charge . Not impressed with the booking process and the overly high prices for your rooms.

Great view from the fourth-floor balcony, the elevators are very fast. Great water pressure. The room was nice and quiet. The pool area is amazing. Especially in the later afternoon when the hottub gets shade. Lots of lounge chairs.

The elevators were a trek to get too. The mini fridge was supermini. there was no microwave. Parking was hard to get/find. We ended up parking on the street most days because the lots were full. The food at the cantina in the pool wasnt very good.

The staff were warm, friendly and accommodating. There were classes for all kinds of things every day. I did yoga. The pool was fabulous and you could rent snorkel gear. The location is on a very good swimming beach. ( not snorkel though).

The fine dining restaurant Rumfire only open Thursday-Sunday. Perhaps staffing shortages? Wish it had more than one hot tub.

Room was very roomy and clean, with a spectacular view. Overall a great resort.

During check-in, perhaps a map of the resort with the room circled would help. It's very large and just saying "it's that building over there" caused us to get lost. Self parking was very limited

Had ocean front room that had a balcony with great sunset and star gazing views. Just a great place to experience Kauai, Hawaii. The two restaurants we visited were very good. The Rum Fire was outstanding. Great seafood and steaks. The scallops were amazing.

From appearances, it looked as if they were pushing time share if you redeemed tickets you were given at check in. You can ignore it.

Great view of ocean and sunsets from room. Large room with full amenities including a large balcony on edge of property away from noisy pools and screaming children. Nice beachfront and acceptable pool. Parking was free which we appreciated as we rented a car for our entire stay. This allowed us to visit Waimea Canyon which we highly recommend.

They suspended room service, so we had to pick up food despite offering large tip. Hotel feels Understaffed. Two of the service staff were very unfriendly, bordering on rude. A waitress in Lava was rude and a retail clerk in the pickup take away breakfast restaurant was rude. Also, tipping expectations are really out of hand. Why tip a person behind a counter who hands me food and drink? Also, the fine dining on site had limited days/hours and was not open when we wanted to go. Also, day one we witnessed a wedding ceremony directly in front of our unit, felt like we were guests of the wedding..
