I had a great stay at Tip Top Motel. Pros: - Large, comfortable bed - Hot shower - Friendly and always helpful staff - Breakfast on the ground floor opens early, which is a great way to eat before your tours - We were able to check into our room a little early without any extra charges

The only downside is the location. Although it's very close to the airport, it takes at least half an hour to get to major tourist attractions like Poipu, Waimea, and Tunnels Beach. Furthermore, there are few dining options nearby after 6 p.m.

The bed was comfortable. It was clean and it was just a quick stay before we went to the resort vacation. The parking lot filled up in the evening and in the morning the cafe was the best place in town. People were waiting for the chance to sit. The omelette was delicious. Very fun.

When we pulled up it was late afternoon and the place was like abandoned. It seemed like we made a questionable choice. But it turned out really good

The check is automated via a door code that activates at 3pm. A staff member called in the morning to ensure we received our room number and code via email. We arrived a bit early and needed to drop our bags off before going for a tour and they kindly sent a housekeeping staff to open the door for us. The room was clean and the bathroom looked like recently renovated.

We only stayed for a night as it was a quick layover for us but it provided all we needed. Close to airport, to our helicopter tour office and very clean facilities. Lots of restaurants nearby too.

We had a self-check-in and check-out so the process was very quick. We simply got the room code per whatsapp message. The room was small but the right size for a couple and the bed was very comfordable. It was very clean and had enough towels and shower gel/shampoo and soap for our stay.

The windows were louver windows so they were not closing properly and it was a bit loud. The roller shades were not thick so it was getting bright early. We also seen tiny ants in the bathroom.

It's a motel. You'll have plenty of parking options, the shower is hot and the room is clean. Bathroom will have soap and shower gel with one towel per person. When checking in after 2:30pm they'll tell you the room number and leave the door open for a self check in. It's more expensive than usual motels, but that's just the Hawaiian price. It's still one of the cheapest options. My Fitbit recorded the best sleep I ever had although I'd say it's a usual bed. Generally would recommend and stay there again.

I liked its location, the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the bed. Loved the shower. It had good proximity to Walmart supermarket.

Only thing I was less keen on was how dark the room was even during the day and the height of the windows. It would have been nice to have them lower down. Privacy wouldn’t have been affected.

Very clean, easy of use since there was no lobby to check in with since they send you an email with the room code to unlock door. the tip top bakery is a local favorite, and I think the locals know the best value to taste is where it is at!!!! great place if you like a lower budget expense.

This is a simple motel with simple accommodations. It is clean and comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and pressure. We slept great. Keyless entry without reception was convenient. It's very close to the airport. I'd stay again.

It's one of the most affordable places to stay in the area. Good price for the market, but it still felt overpriced.

This is excellent value for what we needed - one "bridge" night before our flight home. No frills (no frills at all), but clean and comfortable and quiet and safe.

Air conditioner was a little loud and hard to adjust to exactly what I wanted. I ended up just using the fan feature which was adequate, but a little toasty.
