The location is perfect and it is a walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

We arrived at 3:20 pm and the rooms weren’t ready yet and we had to wait a while for them to finish cleaning the rooms

Lovely reception/lounge area to work and meet people. Great location. Clean, very good staff in lounge area I did not like the check-in. Checked in at 9.30pm. Very helpful lady who answered all questions and did everything efficiently. Towards end of check-in, another man at front desk comes across and says ‘oh she’s just learning’, pats her on her shoulder!! (So patronising and men should not touch woman at work) and then proceeds to repeat everything she has already told/asked me. At some point - I said - please can I go to my room, I know all this. If this is how Sofitel trains its staff - I won’t stay there again

The location is perfect and the rooms always clean and all the staff they are very helpful and friendly especially ekram she is so helpful and kind from the front desk.

The Concierge they’re not helpful at all even for simple things every time we staying in the hotel the same thing happened. Not all the luxury rooms the same there is some different between them and every time we must ask for the better luxury rooms i mean the size or the bigger looks gave in by the design maybe 🤔

The house keeping . Being passive aggressive with an attitude. I put on don’t disturb sign so we have our day comfort free , yet received an annoying call asking when I need to room to be cleaned regardless or the sign . And keep saying we will be done at 9:30 pm and when I gave them a time I know I am out . They didn’t clean the room saying there was a sign earlier!!!??

As per usual, the stay was exceptional. Perfect location, in the heart of Paris. Luxurious rooms with new, modern furniture. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned everyday, and sweet treats were left for us on our beds. Every year we visit Paris, we insist at staying in your hotel! Feels like home each time we visit. Special thanks to laeticia for offering us a free upgrade for one of the rooms and her colleague for providing us with a smooth check-in, hassle free. Sofitel Le Scribe is one of the best 5-star hotels in Paris.

Booked honeymoon room as solo traveler - amazing size and design with fancy bathtub in the middle of the room - good to warm up and relax after long days in cold weather

Not super comfortable bed, very thin duvet for cold weather, no access to balcony was disappointing

Very clean room and comfortable bed, great location, amazing breakfast, special mention for Christopher who speaks all the languages including Japanese, Chinese and Korean, who was really helpful for the tourists who didn’t understand French.

Room Service Food was Excellent, Check in desk friendly and approachable and work very hard to keep customers happy. The Door Staff are the real winners, they would organise a wedding for someone if asked.

At Breakfast, the Scrambled Eggs taste and texture was like powdered Eggs not very 5 star nor egg like etc. The staff for some reason do not remove the food Trays from the night before even when they clean the rooms.

The location was fantastic, right next to a metro station and a 10 minute walk from the Seine. The rooms were clean and the staff was excellent. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever experienced in a hotel, you could find just about everything you woulf wan’t for breakfast. Even the New Years dinner was nice.

Nothing to complain about, only thing worth mentioning is the TV. While it is good to limit the volume to a certain point as not to disturb guests in other rooms, the volume was capped at 30/100. In the room I wasn’t able to hear the television from the bed (3m away), making it effectively unusable.
