Everything! Excellent location, (handy for the station) great accommodation, lovely restaurant and very very helpful staff with engaged and “present” management

Only comment would be is that it would be helpful to know that the postcode for the satnav takes you to the entrance to the underground carpark rather than the hotel itself. It’s great that the hotel has its own reserved spaces on the bottom floor, better signage to hotel from the carpark would help too.

fascinating restoration of ?army barracks - huge building, smallish rooms, industrial deco, high ceilings, natural materials, excellent soundproofing, very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom. good room temperature. i loved the quality design but the style is maybe not to everyone's taste. long empty corridors... in winter the hotel seemed very empty, but helpful staff and good service - possibility to borrow an iron for example ! car parking on site but underground. we didn't find the car access to the front entrance and had to lug the cases up from the car park (not too far though and there's a lift!). there's a parking discount via the hotel. dont count on the restaurant being open. we got take aways from an excellent Italian restaurant - a nice cosy option, in our room, watching tv!

I might have felt a little overwhelmed by the size of the building and the apparent emptiness had I been alone...= maybe there was a bar but I didn't see one.

Wonderful hotel situated in a historic building. Parking is located under the hotel and the lift opens up at the hotel’s front entrance. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are large with comfortable beds, the breakfasts were delicious. It’s a short walk to the historic centre and there are many restaurants nearby.

A room service menu offering some kind of sandwich would be useful for when you just want something small to eat.

Lovely junior suite. Comfortable and modern. Breakfast was quite good, with lots of choice. Very clean and the staff were good. The car park is very convenient, only a few yards from the hotel and good value at €5 a day.

We ate in the hotel one night and the restaurant manager brought us a chalk board menu, the waiter came over, whipped it away and brought another completely different menu which wasn't so good. I had steak and chips but the plate was so full of food, it puts me off. Some folk might like that but I prefer quality to quantity. The steak was poor, very chewy. My husband had the fish which he enjoyed. The hotel is lovely but a bit quiet and quiet location.

Not much to fault with this hotel. Beautiful design, great breakfast, comfy beds and excellent swimming pool. The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.

It is not the fault of the hotel that Saint Breiuc is t the greatest city. There’s in fact not a single thing to actually do there, that being said, if you have a car it’s a great base to explore Binic, Rosaires beach was nice and Guincamp etc. I also have to say we did find excellent food in the evenings even if the city itself didn’t have much to offer in terms of charm/culture. Travelling with kids Novotel could accommodate all of us being in the same room and it is a beautiful hotel.

Unusual style for a Novotel but really worked. Kettle in Junior suite. Nice pool. Breakfast exceptional, catered for all tastes. Hot and cold options. Car parking underground.

No English Tea available either in the room or at breakfast . Limited bar arrangements, reception staff had to serve. No restaurant available on weekend evenings. Limited choice of restaurant options in the city centre.

Beautiful location - city itself is a good base for visiting around - real added value are the staff - reception and breakfast - and the overall quality

Nor fridge in standard rooms, only in suites ( we had both traveling with 3 children ) . Not standard in 4 stars hotel - to be improved !!

Convenient, comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Saint-Brieuc as a town not a good holiday destination however but villages up the coast from there gorgeous.

Fantastic customer service, great location, quiet and has easily accessible underground parking. Breakfast and dinner both excellent. Lovely indoor pool too! Particular mentions to Julien, Anne-Marie and Manon who were so welcoming and helped make our stay extremely enjoyable.

Very minor criticism about chamber service. Water, tea and coffee not replenished each day, but otherwise room was cleaned and tidied.

Very very perfectly quiet and yet central and with a fair-priced under ground parking next to it.

HDMI wall plug for the big nice TV did unfortunately not work in our room.
