The restaurant staff were very hospitable and took great care of us. The housekeeping staff also were very courteous and did not even flinch a bit while helping us. The hotel is very nice and comfortable though location is a bit far from the centre and restaurants are a little further away. The breakfast was extraordinary and we really missed not being able to stay an additional day since my daughter enjoyed the breakfast. Although it was crowded the staff kept refilling the breakfast and the desserts were amazing to say the least. They also had a huge variety of food from idlis, dosas and traditional south India to cereals breads and cakes in Continental. Their hash browns were too good to miss.

The front desk staff were a little rigid during checkout although we understood they had an event to cater to. We had to go out unexpectedly and couldn't check out before that but they refused to extend by couple of hours and finally we had to get the Manager and others involved. I understand they were just doing their duty but it wud have been nice to be a little more genuine

requires a lot of maintenance to make sure things on the wall are secure etc. these are all small things, but adds a bit to the shabbiness. In our room (8107), here are the things I noticed: - drawer with the safe is ready to fall off the hinges. potentially dangerous - refrigerator cabinet door does not close and there is inadequate ventilation for the refrigerator if the cabinet door is fully closed - bathroom mirror is held together with duct tape (!) - extra bed that was brought to our room for our kid - broken and bent legs - wall fixtures loose - Pillows could be more comfortable

Very helpfull and kind staff. It was very easy to arrange transfer from airport to hotel with them and also not too expensive. Not only the room but whole hotel was very clean all the time. Even i did not include diner in the reservation i was always able to get a table

At the brekfast and diner food choice was prety much only indian and asian everything quiet spicy. Which is not the best for someone who dont like spicy food.

I liked this place very much. It's a modern well-designed hotel with smart solution and good spaces. The staff is very welcoming and serviceminded. They really put their effort into make you feel welcome and meeting your wishes. Very good room- and laundryservice. The room I booked was good sized, clean and comfortable with everything I needed. The Balcony bar was a good place for a evening drink, and to relax after a day driving to Madurai and sightseeing. The lounge served good coffee and I enjoyed to sit there working in "abroad homeoffice" in the afternoon. It made me feel very relaxed. The poolarea is nice. Unfortuantely I didn't find the time to use the pool. But it looked clean and I'm sure it would have been refreshing.

Spacious, clean and high-tech room, plenty of good food in the buffet, kind and very happy personnel! Executive chef Muthamizhan. V helped us very well in the restaurant!

The restaurant was sometimes too crowded with large groups of guests that did not always behaved hygienically with the buffet. That’s a pity.

The hotel does a great job with most things. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff at the restaurant were kind and courteous. The gym was decent but well maintained. I was very impressed overall. I was travelling from Chennai and they would give some of the best hotels in Chennai a run for their money. I hope they can maintain this standard of quality and that I can stay with them the next time I visit.

There weren’t many things I didn’t like. They only had one restaurant option for grabbing food. And, I wasn’t completely satisfied with all the meals that I had there. Most of them were very good. The breakfast spread was excellent.

Our window was broken and let a lot of traffic noise in The shower head was broken - not up to the Marriott's standards Got our food order wrong (difficulty to be understood by restaurant staff) Closet for clothes in the bathroom (a bit weird regarding humidity) Retractable washing line in the shower - not practical at all A bit far from city centre but still reachable by rickshaw (max 200 INR - tourist price :D)

Staff were very courteous and at your call always. They would always check to ensure that we were happy and would want to know if there was anything that they could do to make our stay more comfortable. The restaurant Madurai Kitchen had a very good selection and again the staff were always checking to see if we wanted anything else. Chef Vinod Kumar even made a special item which my wife requested.
