The location was excellent, the manager Vincent is very fair and accommodating while the property is going through many projects and hopefully improvements. He seems to be in a tough position of trying to make things work with limited resources. The room unfortunately needed some repairs and lacked cleanliness. We did not see housekeeping much, but did not request and simply cleaned up the areas as needed. The property has great potential, and there is progress being made, but it seems it is very slow I know sometimes it is hard to find skilled workers and that might be the case here.

The listing was not accurate for the room we were initially given. However, the manager was fair in accommodating a compromise The property is under renovations, which is normal during this time before high season. We didn't see much for housekeeping service, but we also didn't request. The bar and restaurant were not yet open and were being refreshed and updated during our stay. Again, this is common during this time as they gear up for high season.

First thing to mention is that the location and beach front were excellent. But what made our stay at Yellow Bird memorable was the friendliness of the staff. Big-ups to the chef who went above and beyond so we could have a glimpse of the Jamaican culinary experience. Sadly for us we would have liked to spend much more time there.

Wi-fi of the property had weak signal in some places but honestly it was the least of the problems when you have the Seven Mile Beach just round the corner. It seemed to us that they are working hard on improving the place.

We didn't have any meal there as the kitchen was close at the time. However, your cook was an site and he made me tea and I even had some of his rice and peas that he cook for his Sunday dinner. my son and I had a pleasant stay at Yellow Bird and your staff were very pleasant, kind and accommodating. We did enjoyed our stay at Yellow Bird.

I would had liked a little nicer bathroom and the door a bit more secure.

the location is awesome. Can walk to town easily and also evening entertainment is within walking distance. And of course the beautiful beach, which has just a few chairs here and there and to me that feels much nicer than the big places with all the chairs lined up. Really peaceful place with a nice garden. Owner has made some nice improvements to the rooms (visited before in 2018 and now again in 2024)

I was happy about every single aspect

The location is perfect, the staff friendly and accommodating, love this place!

The first night we had a fan and really needed AC because of the heat intensity, and the noise of the town was insane until 5am. Luckily, Vincent, the manager, was able to accommodate us with a more comfortable room, and we slept very well.

The location and convenience of location. Drinks were refreshing and really good drink specials. They also had live music nearby on the beach, bonfires nearby parties and beach fun. Stores and restaurants within walking distance.

No breakfast or food at facility No tvs ( maybe upon request)

The food cooked by the Chef was very nice. I enjoyed grilled chicken with rice and peas and calillou with salt fish. They were both delicious and healthily prepared.

If you get the rooms closest to the road, there will be some noise from the road and nearby bars

The pizza was not what we expected... I think it was a waste

Right in front of the beach. Large room with 2 double beds, fridge, AC, fan....Owner and staff superb: AC machine broke during our stay and they changed our room. They also let us have late check out. We extended our stay. I would undoubtly repeat.
