Breakfast was exceptional! I had the traditional Jamaican breakfast twice :)) location was perfect for an introvert like myself. Very homey feel with the right amount of beach access:))

Front desk customer service could be prompt. I called to verify accommodations from the U.S and wasn’t able to get through. After several calls and voice messages I was able to finally speak to someone before end of business day. Overall my needs were met and I had a good time at Travelers.

A perfect little piece of paradise on it's own! Traveler's Resort truly delivered! A boutique hotel experience on white sands, bedside cerulean seas! All of the staff were friendly & accommodating!

I didn't like that I wasn't able to tip on debit or credit card at the resort's restaurant. It would be nice to have an ATM on site for guests. In order to access cash at an ATM you'll have to take a 5 minute cab ride, that will cost ya $20 in addition to the ATM fees. It would be helpful for the gift shop to sell some more necessities for guests & be open with regular hours.

We wouldn’t be able to use enough superlatives to describe Travellers, it’s staff, property and facilities. It is spotlessly clean and well located. However, the staff were the absolute stand out feature of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a smile. The team clearly work very well together, are very accommodating which results in excellent food and a very comfortable stay. We had a few minor issues that Wingate fixed efficiently, going above and beyond to make sure that we felt safe and comfortable in a new room with a complimentary drink and at no rush. We were there for a family funeral, as well as a rest before I start my PhD, so our stay was mixed but the hotel made a tricky time as stress free as possible. It is a family owned and run business and we would definitely recommend supporting local and hope to be back very soon.

The hotel has a bar inside the pool which was really fun. The restaurant is right next to the ocean, it looks amazing, and the prices are ok (a cocktail was about 6-7 dollars). The stuff is very nice with rare exceptions. They have different programs, like live music, karaoke.

The bathroom was a bit moldy.

It's a beautiful hotel, well run with very friendly staff. It has a good location with facilities a short taxi ride away. The beach was clean with attentative staff. Most nights they had some kind of live entertainment.

On arrival I was informed of a 10% Service charge that the hotel had added to the final booking.com price (this is separate from the 10% Government tax and daily City tax I also had to pay), it meant the final cost of our rooms was more than 20% higher than what was listed on bookings.com. also the food at the hotel restaurant was not very good.

We were there to attend a wedding but stayed at Travellers as one of the choices. It was one of the best vacations I've had and we have traveled many places. I loved the hotel, the restaurant on site was excellent, the people were ever so nice, the rooms were clean, the staff and customer service outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a better time and place. and the beach right at the steps . We would definitely go back to this hotel as we felt like we had known the people for years. They were welcoming and kind and beautiful. for me 5 stars. it was homey and comfortable. AAAA+ Big shout out to Rodger, Ricky, Miss Pat, Glendora, Jody Ann, Megan. Rodger made the best drinks at the bar.

Well until we knew it was a problem. Hot water the first night but that was taken care of as soon as we mentioned it to the front desk.

Breakfast is good, especially the Jamaican breakfast with a side order of bammi. On tap tea or coffee for breakfast which was great. Best dinner is escovich fish, coconut jumbo shrimp or the lobster in garlic butter. Staff are friendly, especially the mixologists who whip up the greatest cocktails in no time. The mud slide was my favourite. Rooms are a decent size with room cleaning and towel changes daily. Filter coffee machine in room, refreshed daily which was fab. Small but well supported beach, with security, beach towels, lounger and umbrellas set out on the daily. Outdoor pool on site if you prefer. Lifeguards on duty at the beach and pool. Gym and family room you can link into your Netflix or Disney accounts for e.g. Public facilities are clean and modern. Dive school on site for those wanting a bit of adventure.

Some parts of, rooms on the resort are looking tired. However, they are undergoing refurbishment and upgrades of the resort at present, which will rectify that in the future. This did not spoil my stay. The menu stated items that were not available during my stay, such as bread fruit and rundown. Either take them off or have as specials. Not sure why they could not have breadfruit as other restaurants in the area were able to provide this for breakfast.

This is our second visit to Jamaica and stayed at Travellers both times. We love the staff who we were happy to see many of them were still working there this time around. Right next door is a 24 hr restaurant and bar. There is a lady named Donae who braided the kids hair and did all our messages. She was amazing and cheap. I will miss her sweet smile. The waitstaff remembered our names and orders and did an amazing job. As well as oracio the bell hop/host/manager. We always loved to see him. There are boats right on the beach. Captain Billy is the best! Paul works with Billy and the 24hr restaurant next door. He was our trip planner on every excursion we took. And we took quite a few. On the boat and inland. We knew we were always safe with him no matter where we went.
