The cabins were super cute with a rustic beach vibe and amazing value for the price. The beds were pretty comfy and the outside bathroom was clean and easy to access. Towels were provided (both for the shower and for the beach) which was super helpful. The absolute best thing was the location as we couldn't be closer to the water - it was literally a 60 second walk away! There are loads of restaurants on seven mile beach so you'll be spoiled for choice for restaurants. The staff, especially Mauvette, at Firefly were incredibly accommodating, helpful, and simply lovely people! I recommend booking activities via Mauvette at the front desk - we had a great time helmet diving with Curtis & Dennis, and Fritz the taxi driver was one of our favourite people in Jamaica! Thank you for making our holiday so incredible :)

The location is very good, the place is cozy, the staff are very nice and welcoming

I was advised to upgrade my room the day before coming into Negril (which was good advice) but if I wanted to cancel a night will be charged which made me feel trapped into choosing the hotel, they have to make the communication better to avoid misunderstandings, the issue was handled very well by the staff who where friendly and accommodating, it just felt uncomfortable

The checkin by Jarvis was first rate. He anticipated our questions and gave us local advice. Very pleasant guy. He also wanted to make sure we were safe and physically walked us to the correct Route Taxi. Gary, a security guard on the property felt like a friend and was always checking with us to make sure we were good. He helped us get in touch with Captain Randolph who with his son took us snorkeling at the reef out by Booby Key. The Firefly was chill atmosphere and lots of flowers ant tropical plants all around. Shade everywhere. The restaurant on the beach served as a community gathering place and we made friends. We were far enough away from the party bars that it was no big deal. One could easily walk up the beach to party all night if inclined. We stayed in one of the secret cabins where we had to go out to the bathroom just a few steps away, but it was well lit and felt safe. The outdoor shower was fantastic.

Very minor issue for us but the cabin had poor lighting. We would open the door to look in our suitcase Haha. We always bring a flashlight on our travels and we used it there. However it was not a deal breaker for us. We want to go back.

It was very good. Wish they had Bammy and maybe another Jamaican breakfast choice. Also. The front office staff were SO friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed many places and they were the most cheerful, helpful and friendliest consistently we have ever had. Awesome trio - Howard, Andrea and Sharon!!! Thank you!!!!!!

Nothing. Everything was fine! What we paid for was what we got. It was great! If you want a 5 star pay for it. This was not but was perfect enough!! We are on the beach and about all day anyway. It was comfy!

Love this place, best location on the beach, super friendly staff and you feel safe all the time, it's a quirky property with many varying rooms/ cabins but it is wonderful every time I come.

Right on Seven Mile beach. walking distance to many restaurants and activities. Smaller, quiet. Basic Rooms- maybe too basic, depending on the room. Great to have an onsite restaurant with good specials. Full kitchen, full size fridge with lots of room to make and chill your beverages.

Some of the rooms are very basic- walls made of 2x 4’s with cracks, wooden slatted windows provide little sound/ heat barriers. Bathrooms very basic. Kitchen can be hit or miss, stocked w utensils, or not depending on the unit. Some ppl do not respect quiet hours.

The location was terrific! Directly at the beach. The garden was so beautiful with all kinds of plants and flowers. The staff was super nice and friendly. The restaurant was right on the beach where we enjoyed breakfast every morning and sunset with a drink in the evening. We will definitely be back!

The appartment showed already the years, especially the kitchen. There have been no bedside lamps, only one lamp at the ceiling.

Very clean room, direct access to the private beach. Staff very friendly et tasty dishes at the bar. Will come back for sure!

The staff was so kind and welcoming to my family. Howard, maid service, and servers were all spot on. The security always watching over. The gardener kept everything beautiful. Amazing people & vibes.

Firefly is a hidden gem on Negril's 7 mile beach. Firefly has Lovely grounds with quaint cottages and clean comfortable rooms for the unfussy traveler. Beachfront restaurant has delicious food and options for all. The staff is friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about Howard at Firefly's front office. My fiance and I have been to Negril many times and stayed at various hotels and cottages no one has made us feel as welcomed as Howard. We had been on the road all day hadn't had lunch. So when we arrived we had lunch in our hands to have post check in. Unfortunately booking.com had rooms on the site that were no longer available. So when we arrive we were given another room. When I went to pay there was issues with my card. At this point we were exhausted and hungry. Howard was kind and trusting enough to show us to our room and gave us the key allowing us to have our lunch until we could straighten out the situation with my card. If you have ever been to Jamaica you know this NEVER happens so I was so very grateful and surprised at his actions I wanted give him a great big hug but had to settle for showering him with words of appreciation for his kindness and trust. Howards kindness and helpful attitude will definitely have me returning to Firefly again and again I. So happy I came across this place.

The music from Chances next door went on til 4 am which was unpleasant and rude of a neighboring hotel but as I say TIJ ( this is Jamaica) and these things are to be expected but not necessarily welcomed. And cannot be helped unfortunately.
