The staff at the front desk was nice and efficient, and they have a wide selection of amenities for the guests. You can exchange your used towels for clean ones at the front desk, and if you need to wash your clothes there's a paid laundromat inside the hotel. The room was tidy, clean and functional. It has a microwave oven, TV and AC. The window is small but we could see the beautiful glimmering lights of Tokyo's skyscrapers from our room at night. The hotel is well located, with a 7-eleven on the other side of the road and a FamilyMart nearby too. The nearest and most useful metro station (Ōtsuka Station) is located 550m from the hotel. Taking the Yamanote Line from there will easily take you to the most important places in Tokyo. The area around the hotel feels safe, quiet and local, in which you can capture the everyday moments of japanese society

The size of the room is standard and adequate for Japan standards, but if you're accustomed to hotel rooms in America or Europe it will probably feel small. For two people, the space feels reduced and there isn't much space for the luggage either. Same concept applies to the bathroom. I takes a couple of days to get used to the size of the room, but after that it doesn't feel small anymore. Also, the bathroom entrance has a really tall step, so keep that in mind if you're traveling with someone that has disabilities/reduced mobility

Staff, very helpful, we asked to change the pillows as they smelled of food as the room has cooking facilities. The staff changed them immediately without any problems. Cheap accommodation for Tokyo. A fridge that worked. Train station is not too far, tram is just around the block. Best for young travellers' accommodation.

The mattress on the bed is quite hard. The room is very small so there is nowhere to open big suitcases apart from on the bed. The bathroom is tiny a bit like a caravans, can only fit one person at a time. Location is a little bit further out from any night life. Not much in the area but 7eleven across the road.

Location is very near to train station, just few minutes walk. It is a plus factor that they provide high quality toiletries which include facial wash, toner and cream

my family occupied 1 regular room and 1 with kitchenette. worked for us because I've been wanting to try the fresh meat and fish from the nearby supermarket. exhaust fans were ok, no more food smells after a while. location was good, close to 3 convinis, train and tram station, and Sunshine City. our rooms were small and clean, typical of hotels in Japan.

- we arrived past midnight and we had to carry our luggage to the front desk (2nd floor) using the stairs. since they charged us before our arrival, I wish they could have just given us the code for the ground floor door so we could've used the elevator there. - it felt that our bed was not level -- side of the bed near the wall higher. suggestion: rotate the bed so the other side (the one near the wall) gets used often also.

A great location near Otsuka station and very close to the heart of Ikebukuro. The staff are wonderful and very eager to help. There are a lot of conbini stores near the hotel, as well as restaurants. The room is spacy enough for 1 person. You get toiletris such a cleansing oil, wash cloth, razors etc. Will come back for sure!

Tho it is stated very clrealy when you make a reservation, it's still a bammer that there is no cleaning service included (you can get one for a 2500 yen per cleaning).

As a solo traveler it was excellent to have access to the kitchenette. I was able to cook small meals for myself instead of eating out all the time. The value for cost was excellent! The nearest station was a short walk down a pretty street to connect to the Yamanote line.

Other guests were quite loud at various hours of the night, but that is not the fault of the facility. I found the pillows mildly uncomfortable, but that is personal preference.

This was my second time staying in this hotel and everything was good as always. The room was clean, and most of the times it was quiet and peaceful during the night time. I love the view from higher floors. Nice walkable distance from the station. There was a notice of construction nearby, but I didn't hear it unless I opened the window so it didn't bother me. Staff was very friendly. Will stay again with you when I have a chance to.

Walls are a bit thin and there are occasionally some ambulances driving nearby, so if you're a light sleeper bring a pair of earplugs. A toilet brush would be a good addition to the toilet.

it is a quiet neighborhood. there are convenience stores that are near. you can use Airporter services (luggage delivery) in the comfort of the hotel. very efficient. All information are handed over to you during your checkin. The necessities are available for you to pickup when needed. Quite spacious for the usual size of rooms in Tokyo

It was quite a bit walk towards the nearest station. 9 mins from Otsuka (JR Line), 13 mins from Shin Otsuka (Maronouchi Line) and almost 20 mins from Ikebukuro station. It is not an issue since you have the Sakura Tram 2 mins walk away from the hotel but it you want to utilize your Tokyo Subway pass, it’s quite a bit of a walk to Shin Otsuka station.

We loved that there was a small kitchen where we could cook. The room was compact yet it was spacious enough for our 2 big luggage, 2 small luggage, and snack bag. We actually love the layout and how prisitine it was every time we got back to our room. Surprisingly the smell after cooking would not linger after a while. We also opted for housekeeping at an additional cost as we would cook breakfast everyday. Housekeeping did a wonderful job! We also loved how friendly and accommodating the staff are. We enjoyed the neighborhood as well as there were several restaurants and eateries around. It felt very local. There were Aeon Supermarkets , 7-11, and Family Mart located in close proximity which made it very convenient to shop. In fact , although the walk to the Otsuka station is around 7-10mins we didn’t mind as we enjoyed the surroundings. In the Otsuka JR station, there is a supermarket which is more local located next to it. Overall we would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here the next time we visit Tokyo
