Everything was excellent! Nice, comfortable beds with good mattresses and pillows. Very clean apartment, everything was shiny as new. There was everything a person would need for a shower: shower gel, nice shampoo and conditioner. Good towels. There is no room service, you need to wash the towels yourself. But the building has washing and drying machines on the first floor, which cost 300 and 400 yen. The building is situated in a very nice quiet place, so it's very quiet at night. But at the same time, ikebukuro metro station is very close by, just a 10 minute walk and you are on a very busy street with stores, malls, restaurants and more. There are at least 3 grocery stores nearby: Maruetsu petit, 7 eleven and family mart. There is a shopping mall (Sunshine city) 5 minutes away which has stores and restaurants. So there a lot of places to eat nearby. Staff is very friendly. If we could, we would stay for more than 10 days. Much recommended!

Not enough space to hang / put clothes on for 2 people. No knife in the kitchen. Small cups.

The room was beautiful and the location amazing. The room was aesthetically pleasing with soft-colored wood, quite spacious, great bathroom and shower and easy to get natural light. Given that it’s very close to a major entertainment district and a short walk from the third busiest train station in the world, it is all very quiet - got a good nights sleep on their comfortable bedding easily. We loved the great restaurants in the area, the numerous grocery stores and convenience stores, the proximity to the train station and all the karaoke nearby!

Our apartment was in fourth floor and theres no elevator so if you have mobility issues please request lower level. It was no problem for us, but could be an issue for some. Our only one complaint is that it would have been nice to have a little more storage space. We were there for ten days so our suitcases were open and piled high with clothes.

This location is very close to the Sunshine City mall (a few minutes walk), which was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. It has an aquarium, the largest gashapan location, stores for Ghibli, One Piece, Pokemon, Sanrio, Muji, Daiso, etc., a Mini Pig cafe (in hindsight I'm not sure the ethical practices of it though) and **fantastic** eateries. We ate at Agio (italian), Coco Ichibanya (curry), McDonalds, Marion Crepes, Family Mart, Bryon Bay Cafe, and EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! Anyway, this apartment is spacious, came with shampoo, conditioner, face/body wash, towels, washcloths, toothbrushes, and packages with q-tips/cotton pads. The bidet toilet is really nice. Three of us stayed and we had everything we needed. Also, this location provided cups/bowls/mugs/silverware which was so useful. There is no microwave, but there is a single burner you may use if you wish (we did not use it). The beds were covered in the softest duvet cover I've ever felt. Also, the owner kindly provided indoor slippers and a helpful manual on how to work the water heating thermostat and local attractions. Excellent wifi. I would come back to this place in a heartbeat. The owner was very kind to stay up until 11:30 PM to meet us/provide detailed instructions/collect the local taxes in cash when our flight was delayed, but latest check-in time is at 12:00 AM. We wouldn't have had a place to stay if we got there later, so keep that in mind! It is a law that all guests will provide a picture of their passports before you arrive. All of this information is clearly written by the owners, so please read everything!

I'd suggest that if you're used to western towel fabric and sizing, bring your own towels. The owner absolutely would have given us additional towels if we asked (we didn't). The towels were just smaller/thinner than I'm used to. The air conditioning unit was hard for us to navigate as non-native speakers. It would be so useful to include an instruction manual on how to use it. Again, the owner was very kind and likely would have helped us if we asked. Some of the owner's messages did not come to my personal email. I had to log into Booking.com to view them. I'd suggest getting the app if you use this site to book.

Very clean, felt pretty comfortable all and all. Safe and good location in general. Great laundry service, staff was fast to satisfy my needs, welcoming and generous. Fridge and kettle were great, shower and bathroom felt very comfortable, good and cozy wood floor.

Beds were kind of basic soft spring mattress, which were not very comfortable. Two beds next to each other were a bit combersome to get up and get in. No kitchen supplies to use as a kitchen to cook unless you brought your own, besides cups, plates, some spoons and chopsticks.

Being on the 1st floor is perfect as there was no elevator. The toiletries were great. Location is perfect as it is only 2 minutes walk from Sunshine City Prince Hotel that we could get Airport Limousine Bus. The walk to both metro and JR lines are all covered so we were never exposed to rain. The Hikashi-Ikebukuro Park was a nice add-on. Being close to Matsuya was perfect where we could get our breakfasts. Water pressure is very good. We felt very safe as the area has many passer-bys from work at nearby public office buildings and Tokyo International University. The best part was that we were able to drop off our luggage prior to check-in and after check-out, fully safe.

The room could use a microwave. Also the washer and dryer should have change machine available. Also the dryer lint should be cleaned out regularly (fire hazard). As we stayed more than 1 week, it would be nice to have cleaning tools for shower and toilet that we can do ourselves. Broom also would have been very handy. The furniture for sitting should be added so we do not have to sit on the floor. Definitely the closet is needed for storage. I fear the room cleanliness will worsen. Although the unit is brand new, the cleaning is not spectacular. The owners should look into getting professional cleaning services after each client stay.

The room was very spacious - perfect for 1-2 people with large luggage! The room was clean and modern with all the amenities and comforts you could want at an amazing value. The host was extremely responsive and helpful - super accommodating and helped resolve any questions/needs that I had, including extra blankets and etc. Located just a block away from Sunshine City and there are coin laundry (washer and dryer) downstairs! Area is very safe and quiet and the building was secure. Close to convenience stores and downtown area. Building is discreet but there is a sign on the front with the name of the hotel.

Staircase is pretty narrow and there is no elevator so it will be difficult to carry large/heavy luggage. While centrally located in downtown next to all the shops, restaurants, and nightlife, it takes about 10 minutes walk to higashi-ikebukuro (Tokyo Metro), 15 minutes to ikebukuro station (JR & Tokyo Metro), and 10 minutes from mukoshi station (Tokyo Sakura Tram) if you're not a super fast walker.

It's located close (10-15 min walk) to two train stations; Ikebukuro and Ōtsuka, which are part of the Yamanote ring line which get you anywhere in the city very fast. There are two 24h grocery stores just around few corners and a vending machine at the entrance door where you can grab your morning hot coffee shot. The apartment was very clean and it was quiet at night for good night's sleep.

It was a bit cold at times, but you can use the AC unit's heating function. There was no microwave in the apartment. Not a big deal for me personally though.

Very big rooms compared to most Japanese hotels. Very quiet and great location. We read loads of reviews beforehand so felt really prepared and no surprises! We lived on the 4th floor so having someone strong is absolutely necessary with 4 suitcases to carry but that was only needed on the first and last day so no issue for us. The flat has everything you needed so will be definitely staying here again!

Bath towels were very small which made things a bit difficult. Have stayed in Tokyo many times before and I know that’s not the usual bath towel sizes so would be nice if they can prepare big ones!

Easy check-in and staff waited to pass you the key and door access instruction. Super clean and new apt. Bedsheet smells fresh. Big floor area and can open 3 big luggages widely at same time. Quiet neighbourhood near office buildings and Sunshine Prince Hotel. Felt safe even walking at night. 10-15 min walk to JR East Station cutting through main busy street.

No lift and managing heavy luggage will be problematic. Pillow too low.

1. Spacious, the most spacious place I ever stay in Japan. 2. Very close to airport limousine bus station. About 2m walk, stop at Prince Hotel Ikebukuro. 3. Located in quiet area but if you walk 5 mnt you will entrace the busy Ikebukuro. 4. Laundry machine at 1st floor 5. Easy communication, they usually respond very fast for any questions.

They dont have elevator.
