The location of the hotel is the most convenient. About 10 minutes walk from hotel to the nearest station which is one of the biggest stations in Tokyo. Very easy access to many tourist attractions in Tokyo area by trains. The area around the hotel is quiet and safe. A convenience store (7 eleven) 1 block away. Nearest drug store is within 5 minutes and closes at 10pm. Plenty of restaurants between hotel and the station. 3-4 minutes walk to the Sunshine City which holds shopping center (clothes, cosmetics, stationary, almost all kinds), Aquarium, Game Center, massage, etc and is family friendly. Hotel guests are Japanese, overseas guests, women, parents and children, so we could feel safe. One guest lounge at 1st floor with food vending machines and free soft drinks. One washing machine and dryer. Towels are changed every day. No problem with WiFi.

The room was clean and well equipped, but a little bit small. I shared one queen bed with my child. The bed itself was wide and comfortable. However, there was not enough space to open two suitcases. No place to organize belongings.

Stayed for a week for a trip to Tokyo, here's what was great: eco-friendly amnesties available in the lobby, social space with free drinks and vending machines for meals, laundromat, room was much bigger than what you usually get in Tokyo (we didn't have to step over our bags!!), cleaning staff come every 3 days which was fine for us and you get fresh towels every day and service was super nice Location was superb and quiet – 10-15 minute walk to the ikebukuro station, 1 minute to a 7-eleven (24 hours open) and about 5 to restaurants etc. We felt safe even walking there late at night! Will be considering this hotel when we return!

We'd have to be nitpicky as it was a great hotel, but we would have liked some instant black coffee packs for the room instead of going to the coffee maker in the lounge. Also the pillows could've been a bit thicker/bigger.

There was a 7/eleven next to the hotel, we could easily eat. The check in was easy and fast.

The room was very small and our room was right next to the elevator, it was very noisy at night, i woke up nearly every night, this place literally felt like a hostel. We got 1 blanket for two person, it wasn't enough. There is no option for breakfast, and the room is too small to have breakfast there. The station was far away, it was minimum 10-15 minutes walk. It was a bit expensive in my opinion, considering what wo got for this money, but everything is expensive in Tokyo.

The hotel is located right next to Sunshine City mall and is a 10-minute walk front Ikebukuro station, where you can find everything you need and get to everywhere easily. The room is just the right size and everything is comfortable and clean. They even give you a lot of things for free. The entrance to the hotel is a bit confusing at first since only the stairs are visible from the outside. You need to ring the bell and the staff will help with the suitcases through a side entrance.

The hotel is clean and quiet eventhough its located on side of the road. Do note they only clean your room if you stay more than 3 days. But they change your towel and take trash out daily Basic amenity only avail like towel, shampoo and soap. Tooth brush/paste, face wash, cotton bud, tea station avail in the lobby. Where vending machine and laundry machine are installed. Conbini are quiet few and close by. Ikebukuro station is 10min walks.

The room pretty cramp with 2 person. I guess this typical room in japan. Hardly to open luggage. I had to open it on my bed. The bed mattres was wobbly so it is shaking alot when you move. It would be nice to have complimentary water bottles in the room, like my 3 other hotel.

It was the second time we stayed at this hotel! Lots of amenities, nice lounge area with vending machines and free drinks. The rooms were clean and you could get new towels everyday. The location is very good and you can do lots of things in the Ikebukoro area.

There was only 1 washing machine which was always occupied so we had to go to a laundromat. The bidet was not very good. But overall we enjoyed the hotel.

All the staff at the reception are extremely kind and helpful. The hotel is very clean and you have everything you need in this hotel. Value for money. Close to the main JY Green line Ikebukuro Station at east entrance, which connects to all main areas.The walk is about 7 minutes, which is great. Fresh towels every day and cleaning twice we had during our stay. There is 711 just behind the building, which is super convenient. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room is small, but that was expected. There is no space to put luggage in the room. There is a storage area beside the reception, you can keep the luggage there.

Loved the location, as it didn't feel too busy or overrun with tourists. Very easy access to Sunshine City, which our kids loved, and to Ikebukuro stations, which made accessing other areas of Tokyo straightforward. We visited during summer, so it was wonderful to be able to come back to free cold drinks in the shared area. There is a 24-hr supermarket (Maruetsu petit) a couple of blocks away which is super-handy if you've had a huge day and are too tired to go out to eat (that was us every day!!) The art/decor is really cute.

Nothing really. Rooms are small, but this is normal for Tokyo.

It was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities we needed were available. The staff were very friendly and so helpful, especially when we needed to forward our luggage to Kyoto. They were very prompt with answering our messages via booking.com when our flight was delayed. The location is fantastic, and Ikebukuro is a very place convenient to stay.

There is only one washer and dryer, so you will need to plan ahead if you plan to do laundry. Otherwise, it was a really lovely experience!

Good value for the money! The staff was kind and had a bunch of amenities available in the lobby including a cute manga library. Love the bird motifs across the hotel. Also was nice to have vending machines on the main floor for coffee or late night munchies.

The double twin room was small, which isn't unusual for the price range, but it would be nice for the beds to be lofted in order to store luggage underneath and maximize the space. It was a little bit of a hike from the main Ikebukuro station and we got mixed up and accidentally went to the other Hotel Wing location down the road, so definitely pay attention to the signs!
