The location was very nice, especially how close it was to Sunshine City and the subway station. They were also super kind in offering an incentive if we chose an "eco-clean" option, where the housecleaning staff did the more basic of duties. We didn't mind at all, (we actually prefer that), and got free tokens for the alcohol vending machine on the 2nd floor. They also had washing and drying machines on the second floor as well.

My wife and I were very unsure of the key policy. There were no key cards for the rooms, and we were asked to return the keys to the desk whenever we left the premises. We understand that we were foreigners in a very different country than our own, nevertheless the cultural difference made us unsure at the tim.e

Easy and friendly place. Located near heart of Ikebukuro. Nice space for its cost- it’s hard to find a good sized with the right price twin bedroom anywhere in Japan. These rooms were perfect for two so we rented three twin bedrooms for six people. The Hotel was small but mighty in every way.

The pillow was little too small and bed little hard- I don’t mind little hard mattress but the pillow was a problem. But I solved it by asking for 2nd pillow and covering it with my padded vest. Maybe you don’t mind or maybe this is a deal breaker for some- but my family and I didn’t think mush of big deal.

Near shopping district and walkable distance to train stations. Tokens were also provided for vending machines in hotel which includes alcoholic drinks. Complimentary breakfast also included in my booking.

- very nice breakfast, changing offer - large room with sufficient facilities - location near Ikebukuro Sunshine 60 and Sunshine street - bus and train station within walking distance - you get coins for free drinks

- very thin walls (you can easily hear the flush of nearby toillets or even, when the stuff beginns to clean up) - sadly you first need an tv-card for being able to watch anything

Very nice and helpful staff. The breakfast had a vast variety of good options. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel is around 10 min away from the station and very close to Ikebukuro's main aerations.

The room was on the smaller side, but it was enough for one person.

Staff, facilities and breakfast were all wonderful.

Rooms were a bit small for me and my daughter plus suitcase but we made it work
