The location is very close to Hibiya and Oedo subway lines. If you will be pulling your luggages to the hotel, the nearest elevator in hibiya is in 4a, in oedo in the tokyo midtown exit. The staff are youthful and very friendly. They’ll come to your aid as much as they can. The rooms were clean and there’s a bathtub which we really liked. The coin laundry, microwave and ice dispensers are also very convenient.

The size of the rooms depends on the cut of the building. We got 3 rooms with 1 double bed. One room is bit bigger than the others. Space is really a premium, so you will only be able to open one luggage at a time. Sometimes, it’s also better if only one person is standing at a time. But, since you’re not staying in the hotel the whole day anyway, its not really a big issue.

This is where I stay when I'm in Tokyo. There's no better location when you're right at the Roppongi Station entrance. All of Tokyo is pretty much at your front door. Small (typical for Japan) but comfy rooms with wonderful, attentive staff.

A Perfect Stay in Tokyo! The location of this hotel is unbeatable—less than 2 minutes from the station and just a minute from a convenience store. In Japan, that kind of access is a top priority, and this hotel absolutely delivers. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary amenity samples, especially the inclusion of SPF sunscreen—a huge plus during Japan’s sunny summer months! The staff provided consistently satisfying service throughout the stay. While the room was on the smaller side, it's completely reasonable by Tokyo standards. It was clean, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with all the necessary facilities in a compact yet impactful space. Breakfast was a standout highlight, with a generous variety of options to suit all tastes—whether you're craving Japanese specialties or a classic continental/American spread. Highly recommended for travelers who value location, thoughtful details, and quality service.

One area for improvement: the trash bin in the room could be a bit larger. I found it tricky to dispose of bulky items like bento boxes, which are quite common in Japan.

Most of the staff were super helpful and even let us leave our luggage early on day of arrival and then also let us keep our luggage there until time for our flight when it was time to leave. They had washing machines (need money), vending machines, free hair tools and face care products, face steamer, etc. Overall clean place. Pajamas and slippers provided as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Good security since you need a card to enter floors where people sleep.

Hard to understand where to enter (you enter via the elevator next to the cafe). Very few of staff a bit rude but probably more due to language barrier. The double twin room was smaller than expected. They do have luggage transport service to airport that was easy to use and not too expensive.

Central location, just a few meters from Roppongi Station, other stations in easy walking distance as well as the bus station for Shibuya. Friendly staff, affordable price Staff was nice, check-in uncomplicated, pre-stay communication was very good as well. I would definitely stay here again.

This is Tokyo, so rooms are quite small, so this is nothing to complain about, however the bed was really small for two people. The hotel is quite obviously also used by prostitutes for their services, however the women as well as their customers were really friendly, so this is nothing one would have to worry about.

As with most places I stayed in Japan, the staff are very helpful and welcoming. Not all of them speak English but, if they can't help you, they will find someone who can. This hotel is in a great area and there're lots of bars and places to eat. Shibuya is walkable as well so if you don't fancy being directly there as it's so busy, this is a great option. My room was small but comfortable and very clean. Also, as a solo female, I felt perfectly safe and secure staying here.

Nothing really, it provided exactly what I needed. Be prepared for a snug room, perfect for one but two of you might end up tripping over each other!

The hotel has a really nice location if you want to visit the sightseeings of Tokyo. There are so many food options in proximity, you will never get bored. There is a metro station just next to the hotel. The room was very good, we were really comfortable. We used the laundry, there are hints how to use the laundry machines in english and I found it really nice and not expensive (around 500 yens with dryer for 5 kg laundry). The staff is great and speaks adequately english. If you arrive early you can check in earlier than at 15 o'clock for 1000 yens/per hour. I find it fair.

Although there were wester-european options at breakfast, things could be better than frozen croissants and toast bread. No cheese, only fried bacon and sausages. But we were not there for the breakfast anyway, so for that price we paid, we got along.

We stayed for 3 nights and really loved the hotel. Yes the rooms are small, but by Tokyo standard they are normal size and we didn't realise until we were checking out that we could have stored our suitcases under our beds, there was a heaps of room underneath! We had a connecting room for our family of 4 and this was great as we had 2 bathrooms. The hotel is nice and close to the train station, convenience stores, restaurants and shops etc. The hotel offers amenities from the reception area rather than placed in your room, but this is a great option to save wastage. On offer includes bath salts, hair gel, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, cotton tips, razors, face masks, moisturisers & even hair straighteners/curlers! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

There was a tiny amount of road noise occasionally from our room if a bunch of motorbikes or loud cars went past, but nothing that was too loud.

We had a fantastic stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo Roppongi. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with any questions or issues I had, which made my stay so much smoother. I also appreciated the convenience of the facilities—they have a laundry room that’s very affordable, and amenities like a smoking room and vending machines, which I don’t usually have back home. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with AC and a great shower. Although the room was a bit smaller compared to other places I stayed in Japan, it wasn’t a problem for me since I spent most of my time out exploring the beautiful city of Tokyo. The location is amazing—just steps away from a Family Mart, Roppongi Hills, beautiful Tori gates, and fantastic restaurants all around. The metro is just around the corner, putting all of Tokyo within easy reach.

It's a no frills hotel which actually provides a lot of extras & conveniences to make one's stay very comfortable. The staff are warm, helpful and efficient. It's location, very close to a subway on the Hibiya Line, makes it a good base for sightseeing. It's very good value for money.

The absence of a common lounge area. On arrival, we had to hunt for the reception, which we found on the 2nd floor. The breakfast could be more varied; we stayed for a week & found it rather repetitive.
