People at the reception were very kind and helpful. They allowed us to use the swimming pool after checking out while we were waiting for our train. They offered us the same when we arrived before check-in time. Having swimming pool there was great. Breakfasts offered huge range of pastries, fruit and other meals. Coffee from the machine was excellent. After 8 p.m. you could have free bottle of water from the fridge. You can also use microwave and kettle in the hotel's lobby.

While rooms were air conditioned, one couldn't really say. More power just made more noise.

The hotel position, with its close proximity to the old city and the beautiful canal walk is wonderful. The room was clean and perfectly adequate, the shower room very functional and the shower/wash products welcome. Breakfast was very enjoyable and best coffee ever! The hotel staff are warm and welcoming.

The traffic noise which is unavoidable.

Breakfast was extra, as we have special dietary requirements this did not suit. There was coffee and tea available in the dining area but could be taken to your room. A large bottle of drinking water was also supplied for each room. The area was very beautiful along the canal and the walled city very impressive.

Quite a generous breakfast offer, with outdoor seating under the grape vines. Quiet location to the back of the hotel (not so sure about the rooms facing the street). Nicely located along the canal outside of the Citadelle. Very friendly staff.

The pool is quite small and the rooftop location is actually only on the 1st floor. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room, or water provided during the day.

Breakfast was excellent. Location great. A perfect stop for cycle tourism. Arrangements for hot and cold drinks at night were very welcome.

Check in was a little slow and I don't like having to pay for everything before I have even seen the room, although this is fairly common practice.

Advertised fast wifi throughout was non existent everywhere. It is not their fault but it is a problem in the area apparently!

We stayed in the family room and really enjoyed the fact of having two separate rooms. We also loved the location right by the canal - so charming and bucolic, and really a few minutes walk away from the center (even with young kids). Finally, we really loved the breakfast, with a great assortment of sweet and savory options and good quality products.

From the outside the building/hotel doesn't look as nice as it actually is once you come in.

Great position, helpfulnesses of staff, good value breakfast and we had a lovely room overlooking the canal which we paid extra for. Swimming pool was warm and plenty of loungers available. We arrived early and were able to park the car at the hotel and walk into the medieval city in less than 10 minutes.

Some wear and tear particularly in the bathroom. No lift but we did know this and the receptionist carried all our luggage up for us!!!

Very helpful staff, multilingual and took an interest in what you were going to do and advised accordingly. Superb breakfast choice available. A ten minute walk into town along the canalside. Ample free parking , close to supermarkets and petrol. A great find, highly recommended.

Nothing worth putting down in writing. We stayed four nights, no complaints about the hotel or its facilities, food or comfort. Its a great stay, get it booked, its in a lovely town too.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room had all the facility you would need.

The room itself could do with a bit of a freshen up of the paintwork but other than that it was fine.
