I liked the accommodation being in the centre, close to everything in Apt, also parking was free and the parking lot close to the accommodation. The hostess was very kind and helpful, as she speaks English, she explained everything, also about the Saturday market day in the streets, which we went to and was lovely. I especially loved the decor (typically French, antique) of the room and bathroom. The room was big. The fridge in the room was useful.

I didn't like the smell of cigarettes in the hosts' quarters; luckily we just passed it on the way to the terrace for breakfast. The bed is quite small.

We stayed for 3 nights as Apt is a very good base for exploring the nearby area. Free parking is just a few minutes away. We had two rooms and both were great. Nice service. Smell from smoking in some parts of the house (not much in the rooms) was a little negativ.

Location was perfect right in the centre of Apt, we were welcomed by lovely hosts which were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast consisted of french pastries, baguettes, jams and coffee/tea. Breakfast was provided up in the roof terrace with lovely views of the cathedral and the square.

It didn't bother us but its worth mentioning that the roof terrace were breakfast is served is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator.

Communication with the hosts were excellent. They were there when we arrived and quickly got us into our room -- and there were kind and engaging. The room is large, lots of light, large windows that open to the street below. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location is in the middle of the old part of the city -- where visitors want to be. An excellent value and we absolutely would stay there again.

If I have to be critical I can find only one thing to be critical of. The toilet is in a tight spot with a water heater in front of it (behind a screen). Unless you have a broken leg in a cast it's a minor complaint!

Bathroom was rather small but it's an historic building with certain restrictions this comes with... overall not really an issue A great place to stay and very friendly inkeepers.

Owners very helpful. Secure storage for our bikes. Location was amazing. In a small lane that opened onto a biq square. Saturday market day was great to go see in most of the town. Breakfast terrace was perfect. Adequate continental breakfasr

Room was wide for 2 people and clean. Bed was comfort. Car parking was possible in free of charge at road-side along the river after crossing over the bridge from the property. Hostess and host were warm welcoming us. Little kitchen was equipped with microwave oven.

There was a little smell in the bathroom.

A wonderful out of the way place to stay and relax. It is a simple bed & breakfast, but the couple who own it are very accommodating. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is exactly as it is pictured--fresh juice, coffee or chocolate as you like it, flaky and fresh croissants and baguettes with local Provençal jams--in a beautiful setting. We would definitely return.

BEWARE of Google Maps! Definitely DO NOT turn on Rue de la Liberté as Google says. You will wind up on a deadend sidewalk. Instead, turn on Rue Estienne Orves, go up one block and you are on Place Carnot, the pleasant little square which the B&B faces.

L'Auberge Espagnole is perfect place to relax and enjoy the trip of Apt & surrounding of Luberon. Location is in the perfect to reach out to all tourist attractions in Apt and its closer to restaurants. Breakfast served in the morning on terrace and its perfect to start the day with great view of surroundings of Apt and town. Hosts are very friendly and kind and welcome their guest personally. We recommend stay in L'Auberge Espagnole and will like to visit them again in future.

Everything is perfectly arranged by host and nothing to complain.

Fantastic location in centre of Apt. If you’re lucky enough to be there on a Saturday you look out onto the market. Great breakfast. Lovely hosts. We really enjoyed our stay here
