The hotel was quirky and had character, the rooms were nicely updated and decorated well and the same with the bathrooms. The beds were big and comfortable and everything well thought out. The facilities looked nicely kept ( not pool weather but it looked very nice). The owners and all the staff were very friendly and helpful and a lot of fun- it was a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast were plentiful and car parking available.

It was on a main road, but as a positive it was easy to find. No elevator but not a huge place either.

The hotel is cozy and well served. The breakfast is very good and the hosts are always ready to give useful tips for touring the Bassin. We enjoyed taking a bath in the swimming pool every late afternoon after travelling around. You can go on foot to the sea and to the centre of Arés.

The new owners, Alain and Patrizia could not have been more friendly and charming, recommending restaurants, and doing their very best to see you enjoy your stay, lovely gardens, to sit and enjoy, and breakfasts were good too.

No air conditioning, weak wifi signal. We booked through Booking.com and paid a lot more than if we had booked direct. I thought we had a special price, turns out it was!

Great service location was perfect for Cap Ferret and Arcachon and excellent breakfast. The new owners Patrizia and Alain were very warm to all guests speaking in many different languages being so well travelled, knowledgeable and made everyone welcome and helped to make the stay special. A big thank you!

The breakfast was plentiful and very nice. Personal service was given and attention to detail was excellent. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful - always with a smile. The bedroom was spotless and and the bed large and comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were sparklingly clean. TV and wifi were easily available, as was the car parking.

I think the bedroom would have benefitted from a couple of comfy armchair as you could only sit on the bed. More towels in the bathroom would have been appreciated.
