Loved staying. Great base for Cap Ferret and commuting to Bordeaux by car.

No music/ lack of atmosphere in restaurant at night. When returning at night, bar was either empty or Hosting a private or large event so didn’t feel Could go into The bar. Had a spa session, just pool, steam Room and sauna. Don’t think people Staying should have to pay extra for This. Have a set time For residents, maybe twilight time. Don’t think residents should pay for parking.

This hotel is exceptional. Please take it from someone who is very fussy and has high standards. The previous reviews nearly put me off, but we decided to take a chance. This was a great decision. The staff are amazing, friendly, and helpful and they cannot do enough for you, we were greeted within moments of parking up by a friendly and eager team member who assisted us with all our luggage loading it onto a cart to take it to our lodge, I wish I had noted his name as he was so helpful and at check out too you just ask for assistance and they collect everthing from you and take it from your lodge back to your car. Also, we had a very warm welcome and explanation of the site by Patrick, who was so nice and helpful, very welcoming. The whole place is beautiful, tranquil, and stunning. The lodge was spacious, spotless, and no problems with lights, toilet rolls, and sockets! As these were problems mentioned in previous reviews, it was a bit concerning, but dont let that put you off, all unfounded. You have plenty of square footage, the apartments are cool, modern, tastefully decorated, super comfortable beds, and a private terrace. Full-size fridge and spacious rooms, plenty of hanging space and hangers. The location is stunning, peaceful, and beautiful, and the pool area is great and a large space with plenty of loungers. The dining was great too, we had a lovely meal and each chose very differently, the duck and fish of the day were refined and great quality. Lovely bar and restaurant, the design is so in keeping with the environment. Cleaning ladies arrived on our 2nd day. Honestly, there was nothing to clean, really, but they popped the hoover around and emptied the bins. If I have one suggestion it would be that the bins need to be split out so you can ensure things are recycled as there is only one large bin under the counter for everything, and it broke my heart a little bit with all the plastic, paper and food waste all going into one bin.

Recycling is not in place.

Extremely comfortable and tranquil accommodation. The bed in particular was exceptionally comfortable. The design of the hotel is good so we enjoyed a lot of privacy but only because we paid for the Superior category. It’s not a lot extra but does get you a much better position within the complex.

A perfectly comfortable and stylish sofa in our lodge was replaced midway during our stay with a new one which was neither stylish not comfortable. A backwards step.

Our 8th visit to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it just gets better every time . Everyone was so kind and really went above and beyond to help us celebrate . Thank you so much . Great accommodation with everything you could need and a big comfortable bed with lovely linens . Big shout out to the housekeeping staff . How they manage to keep everything so immaculate with sand and grit all around the facility is a triumph . They deserve a medal ! Fabulous restaurant with great food and wine choices and caring attentive staff . They were all so kind and generous to us . Made our anniversary a very special and memorable night ! Perfectly situated with supermarket , boulangerie , restaurants all within walking distance and lovely cycle tracks and walks on the door step . We took the dog to Truc Verte which was beautiful . We didn’t use the spa but it looked beautiful We can’t recommend this wonderful place highly enough.

Nothing . Only disappointment was that the restaurant was closed on our second night and full on the third .

A quiet peaceful setting with great views in to the woods. We had a very comfortable night’s sleep, and would come again for longer

We had trouble locating our room when we first arrived after dark. There were no signs to guide us and not enough lighting to help. I believe they will be working on this, but in the meantime there should be somebody available to lead guests to their accommodation. I felt this was not suitable as an overnight stay, it should be a minimum of two nights to fully appreciate it.

Beautiful peaceful location on the edge of forest. Nice room with good facilities. Very attentive and helpful staff.

Invaded by large noisy conference groups during the week, although the hotel staff managed the best they could to minimise disruption to other guests.

The setting was stunning and the accommodation decor and furnishings fitted the environment perfectly. The spa was great especially in the off season. Well appointed lodge. Welcome message in lodge was lovely. Food in restaurant was good if a little expensive

No tea/coffee/water in lodge. I had to ask for some and was given two which is the equivalent of one drink. The shower head was too small and made it difficult to wash my hair. The restaurant was far too expensive to eat at for more than one night and even that was way over budget. The menu du jour offered no choices and to price a brunch at €49 per head is ludicrous. The most we pay for brunch in Bordeaux is €25 so there was no justification for double that. The regular buffet breakfast was already plentiful and varied.

The location. The staff is super friendly. The lodges and the spa are very cosy. The restaurant offers great food

Sometimes they organise seminars. When te groups are too large, there is too much noise and the restaurant is not available to hotel guests. Very strange.

Beautiful location in nature / forest with birds singing all around. The lodge with terrace give a great camping feeling, offer great privacy and at the same time all hotel-level facilities are available. Large and fully equipped kitchen. Nice table outside. Very good restaurant with nice options for lunch and dinner. Bike rental option and bike paths all around.

Despite large space in the lodge, the amount of wardrobe/closet space was ridiculously small. The shower water was lukewarm only / boiler not working well perhaps and the water pressure not very strong. Distance to the Atlantic beaches was relatively high, but the biking through the pine forests was wonderful. Unfortunately, all bike paths closed due to fires in the 2nd day of our stay. Of course, this is completely our of hotel's control, but it can be a challenge.

It was a wonderful five days in a beautiful village and everything about the stay was great - amazing staff, lovely accommodation and surroundings.
