The staff were super, warm and friendly and very accommodating. Nothing was too much. The room was spotlessly clean and had a lovely cosy feeling. There were toiletries and they were really lovely. The beds were huge and extremely comfortable. They left us a bottle of wine and some lovely treats as a birthday gift. There is also an underground car park that is very easy to get to.

Nothing really! It was very comfortable and clean, nothing to complain about at all! The only thing is, and it's not a complaint at all just a side note for others who may wish to avail of the car park - the car park ceiling is very low so higher cars and vans can't go in!

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. The employee at the reception was very warm and helpful. The room was large, clean and quite exemplary. We needed a little medical assistant and the reception staff helped us very well. Many thanks for that.

Considering that this is an expensive hotel, I feel that a hotel bar and a place to sit down to chat are really lacking. This hotel is quite expensive considering that it lacks all facilities in the lobby. When you are travelling with children and just want to skip out off the room for a little while but not out of the hotel then a hotel bar would be perfect.

Great hotel situated in the centre of Arcachon and close to the beach and old town. The room was a good size, very nicely decorated with very comfortable bed and outside balcony. All the staff were very welcoming and gave us great advice on restaurants and how best to explore Arcachon. There was also a secure car park available for guests a few yards from the hotel which could be accessed directly via lift/stairway.

For the shower you had to step into the bath which would be difficult for people with mobility issues.

Location is top notch and the accent colors used in the room are a nice touch. The staff was also very nice and attentive. The bay window is also a nice addition, but it was kind of difficult to open the glass door that separated it from the room...

There was only one guest elevator to use, so sometimes a line can form in front of it. Also the cafe beneath/beside the hotel had the kitchen door adjacent to the hotel entrance, so if you left the hotel in the afternoon/evening and turned left to head to the beach you got hit by a blast of the smell of the frying oil they were using in the kitchen, which was pretty heavy and even in just a couple of seconds can stuck in your clothes, so you carry it with you for the rest of the day...

The breakfasts were very good, with a good International choice available. I also liked the fact that it had a very secure underground car park.The location is excellent, being only a few meters from the promenade, restaurants, and beach

I didn't quite realise it is essentially a 'bed and breakfast Hotel, so there is no bar, and no lounge, which is ok for summer, but in the bad weather, it might have been nice to have a Hotel, where you could just sit and read etc. It has now become practice all over it seems, to charge you for car parking, on top of your hotel stay, which is an annoying way, of getting more out of clients. Not just a criticism of this Hotel, they are all doing it, but it remains an annoyance

I enjoyed the attentiveness of the staff. In my first room, the water was running red with rust. Apparently earlier that day, there had been construction work on-site. I assumed it was routine maintenance during the off-season. The hotel concierge switched me to another room because I wasn't going to bath with rust-colored water. Additionally the location is GREAT. The hotels is 10 minutes away from the train station. It's also very near some good restaurants and the sea port.

The situation with the rust-colored water in my bathroom was extremely uncomfortable. But the concierge switched me to another room that night, so the situation was fixed. I wish there had been a fridges in the rooms to store one's snacks and fruits. This wasn't the hotel's fault, but after 6pm, the streets of Arcachon are PITCH BLACK. I'm not sure if they turn off the street lights to save energy? But as a woman travelling solo, this felt unsafe. The street lights were also OFF at 6am when I left to take my train. Very scary.

Close to the beach. Decent view of the bay from our upper level room. Very comfortable bed. Refrigerator provided. Decent size. Quiet. The outdoor balcony has a small table and two chairs. It was nice to have some morning coffee and watch the sunrise.

Like many accommodations in France, there is not a complete curtain or barrier to prevent water from pooling on the floor during a shower. Also, the bathroom shown in the photos for the room type we booked was larger and nicer than the unit we received.

The staff were just lovely and spent a lot of time helping me with my French and giving me helpful info. The breakfast was delicious and a good range on offer including fresh fruit. The décor throughout the hotel was excellent. Nautical design and everything looked brand new. Will definitely return.

Our room was noisy around midnight when people walked past down below shouting. It woke me up.

It’s a great location as it’s right on the beach, which is absolutely beautiful. The room was comfortable and the shower was fantastic! The reception staff couldn’t do enough and we’re extremely friendly. Good breakfast.

Nothing. However, we were there in February and there was a lot of work going on on the beach. Consequently the main part of the beach with restaurants etc. was closed. It didn’t affect our too short stay.

Great hotel, very stylish and clean, breakfast was good with good choice of food, fresh juice. On arrival kids got small presents which was very sweet. Location is just right at the sea front and pier, nice restaurants around. Would be great to come back.
