Perfect location with a pool. Wonderful welcome but a huge emphasis on booking the jacuzzi, received 3 emails prior, responded saying our booking should have been for a double room & that we didn’t want to prior book jacuzzi, Arrived to still have a twin room booked but the lovely lady on reception (Gloria I think) changed this for us. Very quant, old French hotel that has beautiful furnishings, yes, for some this could do with upgrading but we found it perfect & very fitting for the area. Very well located & all needs catered for.

The location is amazing! It's in the perfect spot! We really enjoyed walking down the boardwalk in both directions. The staff gave us great advice of where to eat. The beach is beautiful! Even though the water was cold, we couldn't resist getting into the sea. Also the swimming pool water was very cold, but we also took a quick dip in the water. We HIGHLY recommend treating yourself to a 'double room sea view with balcony.' We loved sitting on the balcony and looking at the water! It was very beautiful! Our bed was comfortable and our room was very clean. The staff are very friendly. They all speak really good English. The breakfast the next morning was plentiful, fresh and good. We really liked the eggs, yogurt and fruit. The cakes and pastries were also very tasty. The bacon could have been cooked a little longer for our taste.

The biggest frustration is the outside gate leading to the boardwalk. They have signs posted "PLEASE DO NOT SHUT THE GATE." Unfortunately, someone closed the gate, and we were locked out!! We had to call the hotel to have them let us back into the hotel property. The "key pad code device is broken." It would be wise to replace it for the guests. If you're planning on swimming in the sea or pool, bring your own towels. They don't provide swimming towels. We don't like having to "turn in the room key every time you go outside." We would prefer to keep our room key with us at all times.

Lovely seaview room. Very clean. Well received as returning guests by some staff. Nice pool.

Pool towels not available. Limited replacement of coffee and tea in room. I.e. just one of each type of coffee/tea provided. Sun lounger availability round the pool is limited. No problem with that but some guests were reserving loungers with towels for several hours during the day and staff were not acting on this. It should be made quite clear that this behaviour is not acceptable.

Hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Feel some areas of the hotel looked tired and could do with some TLC on the inside and outside. As the hotel has no restaurant we feel the rooms really did miss a mini fridge. Also the food choice for lunches could be improved, as we found the ones we tried as very hit and miss.

Having a pool at the hotel was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Arcachon is a very relaxing, civilised town.

Being asked to decide on arrival which breakfast we would have, and having to pay for it in advance. Inevitably, we changed our mind as the week progressed, and this complicated our final bill.

Good location on the beach with a boardwalk which runs along the beach into town. Nice pool area and good breakfast although crockery kept running out. Room was big and comfortable with good air conditioning.

Parking is limited and not enough for all rooms. There are some lampposts and bollards in the car park which make this worse. Also parking spaces are not obvious. Could be easily rearranged to make more space. Parking on the street outside is limited and expensive- the staff just shrugged at this issue and didn’t say there was on-street parking about 5 mins walk away. Staff who greeted us on reception were generally brusque and gave out limited information. Hotel on the side of the car park is scruffy with cracked tiles and a dank pond - needs tidying up.

Lack on staff -took nearly 20 minutes and 3 phone calls before someone came to check us in Only 2 sachets of coffee no milk and 1 small bottle of water on arrival but not on other days-poor for the high price of the room This hotel needs a restaurant and could be so much better

Great location & right on the beach. Very clean & tidy & staff very friendly & welcoming.

Rooms were a little dated, no fridge & bathroom very small & compact. Balcony screen smashed & doors didn't lock (didn't fit correctly so wouldn't shut properly). Safe not fastened to secure base.

Really good hotel right on the beach and a short walk to all the bars and restaurants. We had a room with a garden view which actually was the car park but there were nice trees so was nice to sit on the balcony in the sun. The staff were helpful and pleasant, we did not have breakfast but it smelled delicious. Would stay here again

A comfortable family hotel run by three lovely ladies. It’s situated on the beach with a compact pool area. Drinks were provided on request. Room was comfortable and we slept better than in most hotels! Breakfast was OK with fresh croissants.

Parking can be challenging due to the tight spaces and multiple hazards. Swimming towels were not available.
