My daughter and I decided to stay in Arcachon on a whim (from Australia, road-tripping around France). We absolutely loved the whole town and the hotel did not disappoint! It was lovely and quaint, peaceful, affordable, the staff were friendly, overall a great experience :)

A cracked toilet seat and the floor felt dusty under our bare feet - maybe the room hadn't been used in a while since it was the off season? Nothing that would stop us from coming again.

A VERY beautiful hotel The furniture and everything is old but tidy and fine with me. The luxury and fashion of the past days! The territory is great, beautiful yard and pool area. A good private car parking. Breakfast was ok for a hotel breakfast. A decade ago this hotel was included in the Michelin guide. You can see why - amazing architecture, location, yard.

Lovely bright, modern room and a reasonable size for one (or two) bathroom had a full bath and clean and tidy. Good quiet location about a 10 minute walk from the train station and also down to the sea and piers. the staff were lovely and you can leave your bags in reception before check in and when you check out. Absolutely loved Arcachon and the lovely architecture, shops bars and restuarants

Only negatives were the pool was engulfed with mosquitos when I got to it at 5pm I was looking forward to a sun bathe but I left swiftly after beeing bitten. and the ground floor room I had was above the beakfast room so there was a lot of early morning noise from this and the scraping of chairs - I would return to this hotel but ask for a higher floor

Very pretty older charming building, great neighborhood! Quick walk to center. Loved the architecture of the hotel. Quite a few rooms. Nice big downstairs breakfast room but I did not pay for the extra breakfast, but got an espresso there. Room was big, nice, bright, airy. Overall enjoyed the vibe, area and room. Would recommend. Would recommend Arcachon - what a charming town!! Do the self guided architecture walking tour to see villas using map from the tourist office (or do the mini train tour there). Also see the bunker underneath the tourist office! Also visit smaller Cap Ferret by quick ferry and eat oysters!

Pool was cold, a bit pricy room, breakfast extra, maids in hall a bit noisy, so no privacy or quiet, relaxing feel to mornings. Reception staff was varied - one was great (male), two other women were not helpful with any tourist information and seemed grumpy when I tried to converse and ask for another night, or any information. Pool noise from room sometimes when pool in use.

An Hotel full of character,in a leafy safe ,affluent area,ten minutes from the town centre

This building could be made into a top class boutique hotel!!,but it's tired and out dated,a little tatty in places tbh,the pool wasn't clean, breakfast not great,but it's clean!!

Loved the pool and the hotel's in a great location in a beautiful old building. The beds were really comfy and we had everything we needed.

The interior is a bit tired but overall it didn't matter - we were at the beach or the pool all the time so we only really needed a place to sleep.

Loved this hotel. Rooms were great, beds were comfy. Girls on reception were extremely helpful and we appreciated the secure storage for our bikes. Breakfast was excellent. It is ideally situated for exploring restaurants, bars and cafes.

Parking could have been a little more organised.

Quaint, old fashioned style hotel within walking distance of train station, centre of town, and beach. Very pleasant atmosphere with pleasant staff. Good breakfast.

There were three adults in the room, which was fine for a few days but would be a little cramped for a week. This was the size of room which we had reserved. No doubt roomier accommodation is available, if required.

Nested in an amazing building ! Loved the yellow colour curtains and sunny room.

Suggestion: Should install the drinking water dispenser in hotel or put two welcome water bottles in the room, especially during summer season.

Girls were lovely at the front, made us feel welcome immediately. Location close enough to beach, restaurants,small type supermarkets etc. Would definitely stay again
