You can't beat the location. Right in the center of the main drag and directly in front of the ferry that takes you to Cap Ferret. Our room had the most fantastic view and even a small terrace we could sit on and watch what was going on at the beach.

The building is quite old but the room was okay and the bathroom was great because it was remodeled. The mattresses were a tad saggy in the middle but not too bad. The A/C had a regulator on it so you couldn't turn it down below 23 degrees but the weather wasn't too hot the weekend we were there so that ended up being fine. Beach towels would be a great addition to the room since we are right in front of the beach.

Amazing location, direct access to the sea front. We went for the weekend of Bastile Day 14th July. The hotel is very central and had excellent access to everything that was going on. We had a junior suite which was very comfortable and had excellent aircon. Reception staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good.

Parking is very limited at the hotel. Sadly the junior suite didn’t have a balcony, overlooking the sea, which some if the cheaper rooms do. No restaurant (other than breakfast) or bar in the hotel, but to be fair the choice around the hotel is huge.

Charming front desk staff (who even offered our dog the lobby's water bowl!) Even though the parking is tiny and not for the faint of heart, a spot opened up and the desk staff immediately let us know. It was lovely to have a king-sized bed available. The shower was strong (although almost always there's no way to keep the water from getting into the rest of the bathroom.) Really appreciated that our dog was welcome and that we could get two rooms at the last minute for a Monday night.

Met a cockroach zipping down our hall and our kids said there was a dead one in their room. The location is prime in that it's right on the "main drag" but that comes with street noise. They kindly offer ear plugs and actually with the roller blind down, it's very muffled. Unfortunately you have to make a choice between the cooler (mid-June) outside air at night or the street sounds. We choose to go for the quieter approach which meant we had to rely on the air-conditioning unit in the room and it was meager. The room stayed pretty warm.

Don’t get me started. Ok. Loved the view , the bed, the decor, the staff, the breakfast, the lounge. The period wallpaper, fixtures , special touches were perfect. Coffee in room nice. The breakfast was superb.cozy breakfast room too. Also, hubby left his passport in the lounge. Someone came running after him from the hotel to return it. It was a dream of mine to come to stay after I had spied the room a couple of years ago on a walk on the quai. The dream came true. Thank you .

Great location on the beach and near to shops and restaurants. The breakfast whilst expensive was very good, with plenty of choice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Having paid for a sea view, our room on the first floor overlooked the roof of the property directly in front of the hotel which spoilt the view of the beach to a certain extent. It’s a shame that there isn’t a bar at the hotel, given such a great location. The parking is limited, but the staff helped us to find an alternative that was free of charge. A minor point, but the towels need to be upgraded and there’s nowhere to hang them up in the bathroom!

First class quality in food and service. The service from reception and across the hotel staff was absolutely wonderful and a lot of hotels could learn from them. Room was spacious - although the ear plugs concerned me at one point. However, we did not stay in prime season so this was not needed. Wonderful location and one I would almost want to revisit.

Parking a little challenging and costly to do off site. Maybe some sort of partnership with a car park could be offered.

We stayed in the basic room with twin beds. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, excellent shower. The room had air con. The hotel is in an excellent location , on the main square facing the beach, with numerous restaurants and bars. You can have a continental breakfast at the hotel which has a wide selection to choose from, so good value for money. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. There is parking for 10 cars in the forecourt if there is no space available you would have to park in public car park which is very close and cost €30 per day.

In our room, there was an ironing board but no iron. We had to call room service and collect the iron from reception. There are no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. Paper cups and water are provided in the room. You have to go to the dining area to collect your hot drink. However, none of this was a deal breaker for us as we were only staying 1 night and the hotel represented good value for money

We loved this hotel. It is in a great location right on the Esplanade. Strolling along the oceanfront is perfect. Lots of restaurants and cafes very close by. The hotel was clean and very good size rooms. We had a room with a view and it was beautiful. The staff were good and helpful. The breakfast was very good in a nice room with lovely staff.

It's on the pricey side which is to be expected given its location. My only real grouse is that the car park is very small and extremely difficult to manoeuvre into and out of. Parking generally in Arcachon particularly in high season is a nightmare.

One of the best hotel experiences during our trip! The hotel location is just perfect: the beach, the little city center and the boat station is right in front of the door. We felt very welcomed by the lovely staff - and our dog as well! The room was comfy and we even had a bit of sea view <3 What we want to highlight is the exceptional service beyond our stay: we have been offered to use the parking lot and the bathroom the whole day even after check-out. So we had the possibility to go on a boat trip before leaving in the evening. We really appreciated that and would totally recommend the hotel to our friends!
