From the booking to parking to reception and cleaning staff, everyone was amazing. Especially the young man on reception. We paid a little extra for a balcony with sea view and it was worth every centime. Watching the spectacular fireworks was amazing. In terms of the room, it was fresh, clean and modern. It had a very good hairdryer, a fridge, plenty of hangers and storage, very comfortable bed, water machine in the hallway so you could get still or sparkling, coffee and tea. Parking was incredibly easy and convenient beneath the hotel for €25 per night. It’s a stones throw from the beach, shops and multiple restaurants. Outside the hotel is a very reasonable bike hire shop - thoroughly recommend this.

The bar wasn’t manned and it could be lovely with a little effort and advertising of cocktails or special wines or beers, bar snacks. There was also a bizarre health/spa machine in the reception that I didn’t understand, nor was it explained. It just looked odd and out of place.

The location and staff were terrific, and the hotel had a nice water view.

While the rooms appeared well insulated from the sound of neighboring rooms, the heavy room doors (mine and others) were not set well and rubbed against their frames, which resulted in noise when the doors were opened and closed as they skipped about the frame. Indeed, it is an easily fixed issue when they close the hotel over winter. Some might find it dated. However, don't let that keep you from staying here.

The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to improve our stay. In particular the use of towels, umbrellas and beach recliners made our time on the beach all the more enjoyable. The multi-water fountain in the hallway was useful and meant we did not have to buy bottles of water.

I can't find anything we didn't like.

Room & balcony did not reflect the photos, balcony small & tree covered so no actual beach view, expensive to upgrade to better balcony room not actually worth it, hotel tired & in need of updating, breakfast room pokey with no aspect & very expensive, very little help or explanation about the hotel & what they offered

Execellent service. We came late (22.00), it appeared that our car was too high to enter the hotel garage, nearby restaurants were just about to close, and Michael (night receptionist) helped us with all this quickly and efficiently. He went well beyond his duties! Other people at the reception desk were king and helpful as well The central location of the hotel is very convenient: right at the seaside, very close to the main pier for the ferries, the center, restaurants and so on.

Hotel garage could be higher (it is till 180 cm). Beds are not comfortable enough. And there was one exception within the overally high quality od the service: the night receptionist on the evening 3.05. When we came back, she was very involved in exchange in the bar, did no come to the reception until I started to make noise using several room kees just left carelessly on the desk (!), and finally did not give us a satisfying answer concerning our problem about coming departure (we got this information easily in the morning). Generally, she was unfriendly and seemed incompetent.

Spacious airy room in a great location.

The only two negatives were some fairly early morning street noise and although I reported a very strong smell coming from the WC and suggested housekeeping/maintenance have a look, it was not resolved.

Would prefer a walk in shower. This bath was slippery and a little dangerous. Parking- underground - very convenient, but dirty and wet and very expensive Shame the breakfast room had no aspect as it had no windows. Would be nice if there was a bar.

A beautiful place to rest and relax, the quality of the bed is unmatched, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and the view with the breakfast is stunning ! Hotel is very central, and by the sea ! Would recommend it as it was a really good experience!

The terrace was a bit out-dated and the grass was high the first day (it was cut down the 2nd day). The terrace-specific furniture could also be freshened.

Outdoor balcony area was not very private. The grass area was overgrown and looked unkept. Also not keen on dogs barking outside my patio doors.
