We used this hotel as a convenient stopover on a long journey from southern France to the ferry port. We had no great expectations but were very pleasantly surprised by the location, staff and quality of the bed and the breakfast provided. The best thing about this hotel was Isabel, the fantastic manager. The warmth of her welcome and the attention to her guests was outstanding. The room was small but the bed was huge and comfortable. The bedlinen was good quality professionally laundered cotton. The hotel is situated close to around a leisure lake and we enjoyed a walk around it in the evening. The buffet breakfast had everything one could want. No wonder this hotel was popular with all kinds of travellers. Recommended. .

A diversion on our route to the hotel made it difficult to find and the outskirts of Le Mans are not very attractive.

For the price I thought the staff were excellent especially the lady who seemed to run it. Elisabeth or Lisbeth? Extremely friendly, professional, courteous and very efficient. Took the time to talk to guests and made them feel welcome. I had dinner which was very good. I've paid a lot more in supposedly better hotels but didn't get that service. Will definitely return. Hotel maybe could do with a little update but was fine.

Room was fine, shower good, bed comfy. There was a kettle to make tea/coffee. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful Common areas were comfortable and clean Check in and out was quick and easy Breakfast / dinner - fabulous breakfast with a huge choice of food, unlimited coffee, tea and orange juice. My young adult son's eyes nearly popped out of his head! Lovely spread of buffet breakfast food and delicious breads/pastries. Dinner - We had not realized the hotel is located well out of town with no alternative restaurants nearby and had not planned to eat at the hotel which offered a simple 'prix fixe' menu (we are vegetarian) However, the staff/kitchen were so accommodating and made sure we had plenty to eat which we very much appreciated. The food was good and the portions were generous. Location - quiet location, great parking. Hotel is well out of town with no other restaurants or cafes within walking distance. So long as you know this, no problem. We had the impression the hotel was set up to accommodate visiting businesspeople to all the companies in the surrounding business park (car industry region)

Room could have been a little bigger

Location was much nicer than expected. One minute walk to beautiful lake with a beach and lovely open spaces. Room was small but perfectly adequate for a short stay Breakfast good with lots of choice Dog friendly but additional charge (most do these days)

No air conditioning, and it was high 30° so little sleep. Breakfast was 6:30 - 9:30, but staff started to clear the buffet at 9:15 despite the fact that we were clearly still eating, so we had to ask for things to be returned.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast had a big choice. The staff were very friendly.

I was in the disabled room with a wet room but I really struggled to twist the shower on. I have arthritic hands with poor grip. It really needs a lever not a twisting bar. Also I couldn't open the room door on my own. Even my husband struggled to get in. I asked one of the staff to help me, as my husband had gone out. Although it says reception opens at 2pm it's actually 5pm.

Excellent location (lots of parking space - even for my van), spotless, comfy bed, very helpful & friendly staff (and happy to possible communicate in Eng somehow). It isn't a luxury hotel, but very good maintained and absolutely bargain if you need overnight stay for the work purposes. And top of it - very cheap and excellent 3 courses menu up to 9pm in the hotel restaurant.

Really helpful friendly staff. We arrived on a bank holiday and the lovely girl on reception helped us find a restaurant that was open 😀 Room was quite small,but spotlessly clean ,and having a kettle was a bonus. Comfy bed and nice breakfast too! Dog was welcome and good places to walk him. Easy parking . Great overnight stop!!

Nothing to dislike

I booked this hotel due to a race venue I was participating in closeby. The staff were very polite and friendly. Although the rooms were basic it was very clean and presentable. It was certainly good value for the money I paid. Breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice.

We stayed overnight en route to southern France. Lovely little hotel that was easy to find with easy access to autoroute. Clean room with all you need and comfortable bed in a peaceful location, good night's sleep. Beautiful lake to walk around at the side of the hotel. Enjoyed a nice 3 course evening meal and had a good breakfast. Isabelle was absolutely charming, extremely helpful and friendly. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again if travelling that way. Merci beaucoup Isabelle, chef et personnelle.

Good location next to a lake and wooded walks. I was travelling with my dog so it was perfect for us. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nice breakfast in the morning.

There was no food available in the hotel in the evening but the staff did kindly offer to book a local restaurant for me.
