This was a nights stop over between Normandy and La Rochelle to break the journey. We booked a dinner bed and breakfast package as we just wanted to chill after all the driving and sightseeing we had been doing for the last week. The hotel was very easy to find using the sat nav. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who explained the times for our evening meal and breakfast. He also offered us towel for the use in the swimming pool. The room was basic but very comfortable. There is a small kettle with sachets of tea, coffee and sugar. There were paper cups, so I would recommend taking your own mug, which we had in the car fortunately. The bed was extremely comfortable and a really good shower with large bath towels. There was also the added bonus of air conditioning. We decided to have a swim before dinner. There is a large changing room and loungers by the side of the pool. All was kept immaculately clean. The pool is only small but as we were the only people there we managed to do a few lengths. The water temperature was perfect. The evening meal was excellent. There is a 3 course menu and on the dinner bed and breakfast package, you can choose either a starter and main, or a main and desert. You can have all 3 but you would need to pay a supplement. We both choose Steak for our main which was absolutely delicious. It came with potatoes, unfortunately there were no vegetables. We both chose cheese for our dessert. There was a nice selection of cheeses presented very nicely. After a really good night sleep we had breakfast. We were extemally surprised at the selection. There is everything you would expect of a continental breakfast and also beautiful sausages, scrambled eggs, hash browns and small pieces of bacon, which was a real bonus for us British people.

I would recommend the hotel to put mugs in the room for the tea and coffee and also add some vegetables to the menu as a side option for dinner

The lady at reception was lovely. She was warm and welcoming, very informative. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was great. It was nice to have a swim after a long journey. The breakfast was excellent, great choice, and very relaxed. The free parking was great!

The sauna was a little confusing and very strange walking through the gym area in swimming wear to get to it. The evening meal was ok but not worth the price. The service we received during the evening meal was very poor. More attention to detail is required. Poor sleep due to very loud music outside.

Great location to break up our return journey. The hotel is well equipped, pool fairly small but fine for the children to splash about in. We only ate in the restaurant Saturday night as it was closed on Sundays. Breakfast was simple- scrambled eggs, French sausages and bacon and hash browns were on the hot buffet. Then the usual bread, meat, cheese and fruit etc. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioned rooms were very appreciated! Our dog was welcome in all of the hotel, which made our stay more pleasurable.

Room was good. Ac keeps the room cool. Bed was comfortable. Very good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast is also excellent. Dining at hotel is possible and food is great.

I would prefer having a walk in shower rather than a bath although showering in bath is possible. This would make getting in and out easier. Like most hotels shower misses a shelf where shampoo can be placed.

The hotel was lovely and the room excellent. The staff were all extremely helpful, polite and attentive, and breakfast was excellent.

It was disappointing to find out that the restaurant was closed as we checked in (on a Saturday afternoon). This really should have been something we were told earlier.

The man we met upon arrival was an exceptional receptionist and host. Explained everything so well and gave us a lovely family room close to the new luxurious pool. We were only staying for a single night as a stop over but would happily and confidently recommend for extended stays. Exceptional value for money and rooms were spotless. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The only downfalls were the breakfast was a bit unorganised in terms of tables being set and and restaurant was not opened for dinner but these were really small issues overall

Everything it was perfect it was clean the staff are fantastic all the facilities where excellent the pool gym and sauna area were immaculate. Being our stay was due to a car break down which we had to wait for the repair the staff could not be more helpful.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool and sauna were a very welcome treat towards the end of our travels around france.

Located close to Le Mans centre and 10 minutes away from the circuit of the 24h race. Set on its own well kept grounds it is relatively quiet even though it is close to a busy road. Ample parking Rooms are quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Room was clean, light and comfortable; location was perfect for a stopover between Spain and Dieppe. Le Mans is a lovely old town with lots of history and good restaurants. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
