Sauna (the 30 minutes we got), dinner and location. The three course dinner was amazing!

The only reason why we booked this place was because of the sauna and the spa. It turns out you can only use it for 30 minutes, even if nobody else wants to use it. We found that very disappointing. Had we known we would have cycled Col D'Izoard in the afternoon and stayed at Briancon. Now we had to get up at 6am and were freezing terribly on the descent. All in all not worth it for a 30 minute sauna. Our request for an extension was flat out rejected. The staff were not terribly welcoming either.

We arrived frazzled and very late at night. The owner was absolutely amazing, could not have treated us better. He prepared a meal and brought it to the room and we were so grateful! France can be a bit biased to tourists, but this gentlemen treated us like we were family. The room was wonderful, the view beautiful and the dog adorable. Breakfast was substantial with eggs, cheese, pastries, fruit , yoghurt etc. We love you Hôtel & Spa La Ferme de l'Izoard and would happily stay there again for any length of time.

The hotel is conveniently located after passing Col de l'Izoard from north to south. As the road has only touristic importance, it is quite at night. The set dinner was very good and good value. The choice at breakfast was good.

The coffee at breakfast did not live up to the quality of everything else. Advice: Do not take cappucino or cafe au lait (prepared with milk powder and tasting like that), but rather cafe creme. There is no cream, but you find real milk on the buffet.

Location was amazing.

The food portion sizes were quite small on the set menu. However there was an excellent cafe round the corner which was open late and did amazing beers and pizza. 🍕

Stayed overnight with a group of friends while touring on our motorcycles. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. Our evening meal was very good, as was breakfast, although it was a very busy buffet and a bit of a free-for-all to find somewhere to sit. As one of very few hotels of that standard nearby it was relatively expensive, but just about worth it.

Hotel was chosen for its location (overnight stop driving the Route des Grande Alpes). Secure garaged parking available for free.

Set menu food choice could have been better.

The location is spectacular, and the staff are very pleasant.

Just one four-course menu in the restaurant is quite inadequate - a wider choice must be provided particularly since there don't seem to be any other options in the village.

Nice location. We liked the possibility to use the small spa exclusively. The dinner at the restaurante was excellent at a resonable price

The room was small but clean

The location was the absolut best, the hotel hade a little garden and a pool and it was a very cozy place to stay for a few days to relax!
