The breakfast was superb, fresh, perfectly local and tailored to the guest with amazing teas. The location is perfect for Van Goghians ! The hotel is boutique, spotless, beautifully decorated, lovely staff. Their was a super restaurant a little up the road. Auvers feels like a secret well kept and a delight! The information centre and Chateau are so helpful and a must see, incredible exhibition......but also Auvers is so lovely.......worth a wander and time to imbibe the beauty....and see how Vincent was inspired.

{Tuesday afternoons is half day , we didn't realise and had trouble getting in........all the info arrived in an email after we were enroute.....if this happens weekly, it would have been useful to know a few days before so we were prepared......however, still a find and I will definitely return}

Cute boutique hotel right in the middle of the small town of Auvers. Purpose of visiting was trace life/work of Vincent Van Gogh, which was perfect. Beautiful area.

Room was good sized, but you’re on your own while there. Did not have a full time on-site hotel staff. Given key with code to enter. Description of room having a/c is deceptive as a/c is quite minimal- just a little bit of air. But very clean and nicely decorated room. Keep in mind that many stores/ restaurants are closed or have minimal hours on Monday.

The location was central. The rooms were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very good, especially the croissants and bread. Staff were friendly and helpful. Small garden added perfect touch.

We checked in on a Sunday and the reception desk was closed, so no one there to help with issues. Getting into my room was tricky as it the door opened directly to the back street, and secure lock was not easy to figure out

This was a delightful hotel, traditional but with modernized facilities. We were allowed to check in early, which was greatly appreciated after a long flight. The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious! The hotel is located in the centre of the lovely town of Auvers-sur-Oise so it was easy to wander around. Restaurants were steps away. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a lovely experience.

Nothing.

Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Setting was charming and there is an interior garden to sit in. Van Gogh sites are very close by. While they don't have their own parking area, we were able to park for free across the street. Breakfast was excellent, including the best croissant I had during my time in France.

Beautifully appointed rooms, very comfortable with great bathrooms and in a fabulous location in the centre of the village. All Van Gogh sites, walks, general eateries and shops within walking distance. Our cousin is a coeliac and they baked a special gluten free chocolate cake for her breakfast. Plentiful breakfast of baked goods, yoghurt, fruits, fruit juice, tea and coffee. Easy self check in. We didn't see any staff until breakfast. We had one room in the main building and one in the garden, entry just around the corner. V pretty, small garden to sit in. Easy free parking nearby. There's a local bar tabac just next door across the alley, nice for a night cap. We stayed here after meeting a relative off the plane at Charles De Gaulle. Perfect.

Nothing.

Excellent staff and spoke English which was very helpful. Charming hotel and very clean, large bed was comfortable and large bathroom also was nice. WiFi was available and reliable. Advertised as having air conditioning but our room only had heat from the unit. Windows open after dark was enough to cool the room to a comfortable temp. Overall an excellent stay in a great location highly recommended!

friendliness or staff and the breakfast

The unmanned desk on arrival. I had to let myself in via the night access and locate my key in a safe box. I understand the financial reasons for this but I believe to be a hotel there should always be staff on the premises.

This charming hotel was in a prime location in the center of the town and directly across from the house and Inn where VanGogh lived and died .The lobby and dining area was decorated with a countryside flare .I had the suite with an absolutely beautiful stunning bathroom with a bathtub and shower .Bathrobes, slippers ,heated towel rack ,lotion,toiletries.Fridge and coffee machine / tea kettle ,sitting area with a small table .

No one was at the reception desk when we arrived but luckily they're were 2 ladies in the court yard who showed us where to find the keys.
