Really friendly staff. Very welcoming and the dog bowls and a couple of dog biscuits in the room were a very nice touch (we had a dog with us!). Breakfast in the morning was great. Lovely dining room and decent selection of cereals, fruit, pastries etc. Unfortunately we were there on a Sunday so didn’t get to try the dinner menu. Recommend restaurant was very good tho’

Our air con was a little bit noisy intermittently but not that big a problem. Was a major plus having air con as was extremely hot when we were there.

Beautiful location amidst rolling hills and vineyards. Spotlessly clean and helpful efficient staff. The evening meal for 29 euros was really good value for money and plentiful. Lovely stay and we will definitely return.

Not much to be honest- I know we understood that the property took dogs, which is not usually a problem as we have dogs of our own , but a guest had a tiny yapping pest of a dog that needed training and that constantly growled or barked at anyone or thing that went past. Not the hotels fault at all but a nuisance when trying to enjoy a quiet evening meal or the delicious breakfast under the trees.

It was in a good location and the staff was great. It was nice to have an option for dinner and a bar being that it is a small property. It has a nice rustic feel with amenities. Loved the fireplace.

It could exude and update more of the rustic feel of the property with its furnishings work and off the natural elements of the stone and other textures.

We loved how the entire facility kept the spirit of the French countryside without too much modernity. It was rustique and the view of the rolling hills on a clear day was a experience of a lifetime.

Some guests who attended our wedding 5mins away were locked out of the main gate because there was no electricity.. in the middle of a chilly night they had to find the back gate. That was the only fault i could find.

Location was good for exploring Beaujolais region as it was somewhat in the middle. Dinner there on our first night was good. But only available M-F then you have to drive min 15 mins for restaurant.

Wifi unsecured No fridge or tea or coffee making facilities in room and bar/ hotel closes at 8pm weekends and 10pm week days. Shower was just handheld over bath. Not the standard you expect from a decent hotel.

Loved the location and the rambling collection of old buildings and hen enclosure in the garden area. Good to have a pool to cool off in. Good buffet style breakfast. Interesting roof terrace with great views across the village and to the vineyards of Beaujolais beyond. Friendly and helpful staff who directed us to a nearby restaurant for our evening meal at "La Cuisine d'Alice Dior" which had a hill top location, spectacular views and lovely food.

Not too keen on the decor - the grey patterned carpet was a little strange - the pattern made it look threadbare but it wasn't ! Also not too keen on the wallpapered doors with images of suitcases. Would have liked the restaurant to be open at weekends - hence the 'good' rating for facilities rather than 'exceptionel'. Having said that, the fact that it was closed gave us the opportunity to visit the wonderful, "La Cuisine d'Alice Dior" so that was a bonus!

Nothing to complain

Nice hotel on the way to the South of France or Spain close to Lyon. Nice restyled old building with a nice interior, rooms and garden, swimming pool, parking on the premisses. Friendly staff

The restaurant offers only one menu, altough nice and of good quality.

This is was of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in, the beautiful views and the architecture of the building is just breathtaking thanks to Charles and his staff it was amazing.

The parking spaces are a bit tight but we managed!
