This was a one-night stopover. The hotel looks like a good place for a longer stay - who knows? - if we are back in Bourges again I would certainly consider it. But with some provisos...

...we didn't pre-book breakfast but decided on arrival to have it. It was very so-so for the price we were charged. I'm not sure if it would have cost much less if we had pre-booked, but I think we would have done better to have gone to a cafe instead. There were roadworks outside the hotel which made access difficult on the evening we arrived. These may have something to do with the very unreliable internet access we experienced on phones and a laptop when we stayed.

The staff was very welcoming and alway there to make sure everything went well. The place was still under some renovation however this did not affect our stay. I was travelling with my 90 years old dad. His mobility was reduced however we managed the few stairs to get to the car parked at the back using their back door. This area ,I am sure, will benefit from the renovations too. Breakfast was generous, fresh and easy to access. A nice place to stay near the city center which we vocal don't visit. We just took our car to go out for diner. Most places were fully booked, We did not ask the reception for advices and we should have.

From the outside, I wasn't sure the place was opened...I could tell it was under renovations though but not clear to me ready to welcome. Might totally different by now.

Signage for the hotel was very good, indicating how to cross a busy road near traffic lights. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. Parking spaces were at the rear of the hotel. After hours entry to the building was by a code. It was easy to take a longish walk to a couple of supermarkets and also to walk into town. There is a lift, probably created as part of the renovations.

Outside of reception hours the reception is locked up. Originally we were given only one towel each but the cleaning lady fixed that.

Brand new bed rooms, fancy bathrooms with jacuzzi, lots of space even though we were 4 in one bedroom. The sofa bed is actually a bunk bed sofa bed which we have never seen before and was amazing. Even the double bed was really spacious. The hotel is located in a quiet area: no noise. Breakfast room cosy and welcoming with an effort with sausages and eggs on the menu for people like us not on bread and croissants. Everything was delicious. We highly recommend.

Nothing

Being refurbished to a high standard 03/24, but the rooms are very nice, with very nice beds, excellent shower in a well appointed bathroom. Close to a reasonably busy road, but high quality windows mean you can hardly hear a thing - and this is coming from someone who lives in a very, very quiet place! Works are still in progress, but not inconveniencing the customer. Good parking, and easy to find. Reasonable walk into the city to find bars and restaurants.

This is a nice hotel. The room are perfect. The air conditioner is running very quietly what is rare and much appreciated. The location is not the most practical but if you cross the road there are beautiful walks or runs. The breakfast is very good. But the very best was the staff who were very helpful while I had done a mistake in my booking. Thanks again!

A decent room with a comfy bed.

The breakfast was good, but it is served in a rather cramped area, so people kept getting in the way of each other. Items were slow to be put out or replenished, but as I say once you had what you needed it was good.

Bourges is a fabulous medieval town. The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable with the best hot and cold breakfast on our trip. Walkable into the town in just a few minutes. Will definitely be staying again.

On a fairly busy road but quiet in the room.

This hotel is a gem. Rooms are nice size, freshly renovated, and decor is lovely. Location is perfect, walking distance to the town and it also offers a car park. We travelled on a motorbike and were happy there was a parking under the roof to store our bike overnight. Buffet breakfast was also very nice.

Air conditioning excellent and much appreciated on a bakingly hot day! Great shower, comfy bed. Compact, clean room and ensuite. Quiet, despite facing onto the road. Very good breakfast, air conditioned dining area. Polite, friendly staff.
