The bedroom was exceptionally good in layout and facilities. The hotel whilst not particularly interesting architecturally is in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The underground garage was large enough to make access easy and we were grateful for the shade to keep the car cool in the very hot conditions. EV car charging is also available at a reasonable cost when compared to U.K. charge points.

The hotel is in a quiet location next to the river, but only some ten minutes walk to the city centre. Our room was modern and spacious with a great view over the river, Everything therein was of excellent quality, with a very comfortable bed. There was secure on-site parking. We had an evening meal in the hotel restaurant and although not 'haute cuisine', it was nonetheless very good, even if a little formulaic. The breakfast was either buffet style with a varied choice of quality products or continental, also offering pastries and good quality coffee. There was access to the main riverside walk via a gate in the well-kept hotel gardens, which had seating areas available.

As stated above, the food was very good but as to be expected, typical of the ready-prepared hotel chain style meals, but that aside, in the short time that we stayed, nothing else struck me as needing improved or altered.

The hotel was clean and attractively decorated, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent with a fabulous view of the historic bridge in Cahors. Our room was a good size, well appointed with a terrace and lovely views. Really well made cocktails before we went out for dinner. Breakfast was generous and nicely laid out. Our only quibble was the plug in the bath wouldn't work and the bath didn't drain but the staff were quick to acknowledge it and deal with it. It was an added bonus to have underground parking which was cool and sheltered meaning our car & belongings were safe. We thought it was pretty good value and would definitely stay there again.

View of the bridge wonderful; tranquil environment in general—watching people walk along the river; walk to church about 10 minutes—but worth it! One block from the old bridge. Parking is easy. The front desk staff was exceptionally efficient and clearly explained where to go.

Nothing was a problem—apart from the walk to town being linger than expected. But that was unavoidable if we wanted a view of the old bridge.

Fabulous setting by the river with views of the old bridge. We were in prime position to watch the firework display on July 13 with a bottle of wine on our balcony. The room was very comfortable with a large bed, effective air conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, decent hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Great selection for breakfast, including Yorkshire/decaf tea. Staff were delightful.

Fabulous location next to the medieval bridge over the Lot. Underground parking with EV chargers available to book. Good value bar snacks with pretty open area overlooking the river. Excellent large room with enormous, comfortable bed. Very helpful staff.

Very minor point, the underground parking is claimed to be secure, but the entrance was open late in the evening and early in the morning, so I don’t think it is truly secure.

The modern hotel building is a bit of an eyesore next to the Medieval pedestrian bridge Pont Valentre. But once you are insight the hotel, you are pleasantry surprised by the modern and lightful architecture. All rooms have a great view on the idyllic river Lot and Pont Valentre. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The breakfast sticks out as superb, going far beyond the usual French breakfast options. Staff is very friendly and efficient. And they have a locked bike-room in case you arrive by bicycle.

The staff, room, view and location were all fantastic. All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Clearly the management at this hotel really know about hospitality. We only had coffee for breakfast so can’t comment on the food in the morning. We are on the terrace both nights and the food and wine choices were good - a bit limited but they don’t claim to be a full service restaurant. We recommend this hotel without hesitation and would definitely stay here again.

No complaints about anything

We love the combination of sophisticated brutalist architecture, gorgeous nature in which the building is set and super modern facilities like the indoor pool leading to the sun terrace.

It’s our second time there. We love all of this hotel - rooms, setting, staff lovely. In an ideal world would like to have the toilet in the bathroom with a sink rather than separate but that’s minor.

The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking the river and the Pont Valentre which could be enjoyed from our room balcony. The room was clean, well maintained and spacious. The breakfast was good. We arrived by car and were pleased to have access to secure parking on site. The staff were delightful. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but is close to a range of good places to eat.
