Great location and good value for our party of 8! Restaurant food was excellent. Breakfast also had a good choice. It was a short walk into Cahors old town which was great too. The swimming pool was a great added bonus in the hot weather!

We were told that a party of 8 couldnt be accommodated in the outside eating area but when we checked on both nights there was a table for 9 set up - a bit dissapointing considering the amount we spent at the hotel over 2 nights. Also we ordered champagne and wine on one evening - the champagne turned up room temperature and the red wine chilled - maybe this is how it is in this region but would have been nice the other way round!

Stayed before so easy to find. Room had balcony overlooking the river Lot to watch the pleasure boats. Good size bedroom with very good bathroom, comfy bed, small fridge for your use. Very clean. Evening meal can be taken on the patio just feet from the river. Menu and food excellent. Breakfast the best we have seen anywhere. Decor in the hotel is modern and classy. Cahors old town a short walk over the nearby bridge. Some may say it is a little too far off the autoroute. Our view is ‘If you have just driven a few hundred miles, an extra 5 or 6 miles is nothing for this hotel”.

Parking can be a little restricted but we have always found a place to park in outside car park.

Our triple room is large. Two big comfy beds. Great view to the river. With balcony. Enough electricity outlet for charging devices. Good lighting. Good air ventilation. Bathroom has windows for airing. Has enough natural light. Towels were very clean. Location is super. Next to the river with the view to the bridge. Quiet. Easy to park (outdoors only). Restaurant meals are value for money. Serving sizes were large. No one could leave hungry ;-) Staff are professional and helpful. Breakfast was very good, full of choices. Coffee tasted tood.

Our room had a bathtub without a hand grip on the wall, making it tricky to climb in and out, especially for people with mobility problems.

Personnel at the restaurant not very professional. Terrace excellent and food ok but limited in choices and too expensive. Nobody seems to speak or understand English even the younger staff. I guess they don’t teach English in school in this area of France. The outside of the windows of the room in need of maintenance really badly.

The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel is walking distance from the train station, Valentre bridge and old mediaeval city with restaurants etc. the pool was an added bonus during a heatwave dining/breakfast on the deck be the river Lot is very pleasant..

Ii. Couldn't fault the hotel. Especially after spending two weeks on a cycling trip and sleeping in a tent.

Good room with small fridge, good bathroom, balcony overlooking river Tarn, good size comfy bed, lift, excellent evening meal on terrace by the river, superb breakfast. Hotel has a feel of class above 3 star rating.

A little off the autoroute but worth a slight detour to stay in a classy hotel. Have stayed there several times and booked again on return to Spain.

The location was excellent , next to the river and a short walk from Cahors centre.. Free parking is a bonus and it is worth the extra for a river view room also do try to make use of the onsite swimming pool.

The fabric of the building requires some maintenance as external window frames and wooden balcony screens were showing their age. The carpet on the third floor was well worn and detracts from the overall ambiance of the hotel.

We used Cahors South exit to avoid the narrow streets of Cahors. Hotel situated a couple of yards from the river and with a balcony overlooking the river you could almost feed the ducks and with a view of the old bridges and the town. Lift to all floors. Large comfy room, large comfy bed, a small fridge and very good, well fitted and superbly tiled bathroom. Evening meal very good and, weather permitting, served on a large patio on the bank of the river. Large indoor restaurant as an option. Breakfast the best we have had in a hotel in this price range.

Nothing. We have stayed here a couple of times on our way to Spain and will do so again.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel and I really like it. It is in a lovely setting along the Lot and you can easily walk into town. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the dogs are made welcome. The evening meal is excellent with a range of choices and good value. Freshly baked gluten free bread was available. Breakfast was really good too with lots to choose from and also good value. In dry weather the outside terrace is a lovely place to eat and enjoy river views. Ample parking and pleasant staff.

Unfortunately there was no kettle or tea or coffee making facilities nor was there any bottled water which is now the norm in most places I have stayed and would be welcome after a long journey. There was a fridge? The soap/ shower gel was very basic.

Welcome from the staff who spoke good English. It's a busy hotel with travellers but nothing ever felt rushed. Lovely terrace area to have an evening meal. French Cuisine only. Local produce..We extended our stay (weekend) by two extra nights because the restaurant is open everyday for breakfast lunch & Dinner. Lunch & Dinner menu is the same. Any food / drinks purchased are automatically added to your room number for ease of staff. Cash/cards don't really get taken by staff but you can opt for this if you ask. Our Room had a fridge. Aircon and a small balcony with chairs / table with a spectacular view of the river LOT. Well worth the extra few pounds. We loved the walking Distance to town Parking

Our Shower room was small. It was functional the decor was a bit dated. Our room 23 had only a narrow gap between the wash basin to reach toilet & shower. This is only a small thing but thought we'd mention it. It could easily be resolved by installing a smaller vanity unit.
