Our second stay here, and hopefully not our last. We stayed in a different room this time, and now we don't know which one our favourite is, they're all so beautiful. Everything looks and smells so good, it makes it hard to motivate yourself to leave the room. Fortunately, breakfast is worth getting out of (super comfortable) bed for, and the hosts are discreet, lovely, and provide clear information. Great restaurant only a few steps away as well. While Saint Cirq Lapopie can be full of tourists by day, it's quiet and peaceful at night - a real treat.

Absolutely nothing not to like.

Amazing location perched on a cliff above the medieval town, lovely suite at the top of scary stairs, good breakfast delivered to our room with charm and presentation. A very unique settling.

It would be helpful if the owners provided some data beforehand about open restaurants. It was a Tuesday night and it was difficult to find a place to eat. There was no bar - honor or otherwise- so no possibility of a beer or wine after we checked in. This was unusual for Europe.

Lovely room, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Charlotte was a great host and looked after us very well. Breakfast was delicious, the first morning Charlotte delivered it to us on our terrace, freshly cooked and beautifully presented in a picnic basket and then the next morning on the shared terrace higher up with amazing views. Charlotte booked us a table for both evenings at two different restaurants, all within walking distance. Saint-Cirq-Lapopie is a stunning destination and I’m glad we found Maison Lapopie chambres et gîte, thank you Charlotte and Fabian.

What can I say about this property, just perfect! Everything was perfect, the owner really cares and has a great taste. Amazing design, new, clean, and every little detail in the room stands out. Amazing breakfast served brought to us in a picnic basket. Every little detail was really well designed.

Nothing, everything was perfect. I work in hotels and I can easily assess a good quality property.

The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurants info provided was very helpful. Fabian was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was plenty.

When we arrived, there was nobody to check us in. We called but nobody picked it up. We left a message and recieved no call back. We had to wait for 20 minutes. We called again and this time someone picked it up. We were told the room was ready and we could go in ourselves.

The stay was exceptional. We loved the view from the window, and the breakfast was rich and delicious. If the weather is good, you can have your breakfast outside with a view. The room was big and the bed comfortable.

The see-through shower was maybe not our thing, because I was traveling with my mother. But this was not a problem, we gave each other some shower time and the shower was really good anyway.

Really cute place with great views and a porch for breakfasts, old house in old historic town but modernized with AC and modern bathroom/shower. Close to restaurants and shops, just 50 meters below the cathedral. Staff helped me arrange a taxi to my next stop.

Great breakfast but came 15 minutes late for my spouse, who was walking long distance and could not wait.

The view from the breakfast terrace is breathtakingly beautiful and romantic. Delicious breakfast, ingredients can be chosen individually. There are personalised welcome cards on the doors of the individual rooms. Our room was furnished astonishingly modern inside and very comfortable & warm.

Parking is complicated. Breakfast is only available from 8:30am on. The wall connecting bathroom and bedroom of our room was see-through glass - surely a nice feature if you are a couple, but quite embarrassing for others who might be sharing a room.

We stayed in the separate two-story house. It was absolutely beautiful and there was nothing we lacked. The holes were wonderful and we paid extra for a breakfast in a basket to be delivered every morning. It was just very clean fresh farm to table food that was fabulous! This is probably our favorite place we’ve ever stayed in our lives. the village is to die for as well. We rented a car and there is a car charger just up the walk from our lodging and that was very convenient.

We loved it all!

The gîte was a lovely little reconverted barn, very recently renovated and equipped with all the amenities. We found it very cozy and comfortable. It's only a short walk to the more popular areas in the very tiny, but beautiful village and enough off the beaten path to offer some quiet and privacy. Of course, we were there in winter, when the town was mostly shut down, so it's a little hard to imagine what the atmosphere is like in tourist season. We were there for only two nights, but I would very enthusiastically return for a longer stay, either in the gîte or in the chambres d'hôtes next door. The couple who own both were charming and responsive.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like. However, if you go to St. Cirq in late December, it's very quiet, and there were only one or two restaurants and galleries open at the time of our visit. The gîte has excellent cooking facilities, but there's no supermarket close by, so it's best to come with provisions.
