The auberge is in a beautiful and quiet location beside a delightful village and in beautiful countryside. We chose the half-board option and were very well fed - Richard is an excellent cook with an encyclopaedic knowledge of French cuisine and takes great care over his ingredients. He and Jane were both very friendly and welcoming.

A kettle in the room would have been nice although Jane did say that we could ask for tea and coffee at any time.

Beautifully located and perfectly maintained Auberge which was totally redone and furbished in a wonderful way. The couple running the auberge are very attentive and friendly. The owner has a passion for cooking and even took us after a long ‘etappe’ on the Camino to the village for our booked dinner. All facilities are very good including a large swimming pool. Very recommendable

Nothing really. Perhaps that the village is a few hundred meters away but it dis not bother us at all.

We had the half board option, and the evening meal was exceptional. It is a great location for visiting Pech Merle and doing the 4km river walk to St Cirq Lapopie. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here and especially having the evening meal. Very quiet and comfortable bed.

Lovely spacious suite, comfortable and clean and beautifully decorated. Very good breakfast. We could’ve had dinner but didn’t realise we needed to order ahead. Ate in town only 800m away. The hosts were English which made it easy for us and did all our laundry for us. Merci beaucoup.

The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. There was a pool which the owners opened up specially for us. Our bikes were easily stored and charging the batteries was not made a problem. The evening meal was lovely and meant we didn’t need to go back out once we had arrived.

The Auberge is a pleasant, comfortable hotel, in a great location just outside Cabrerets village, but eithin easy walking distance. The hosts are approachable and helpful, and an evening meal is available if requested in advance.

Located within approximately a three minute drive by car to the Grotte Peche Merle. Small swimming pool on site. Very quiet location, good for walking, kyaking etc.. Very welcoming hosts, very comfortable rooms.

Everything was good so no negative remarks about this auberge However, the wooded surroundings, near the river does mean that there are mosquitos, this is not just at the auberge but is a common issue throughout the region.

We received a warm, friendly welcome. The auberge has been decorated with great care and taste. The rooms are large, comfortable and tastefully decorated. A delicious breakfast. We also had an evening meal, which was very delicious and I would highly, recommend booking in for an evening meal. The auberge is situated in a beautiful, tranquil location. We had a fabulous stay,

A warm welcome from Richard and Jane. We stayed a couple of nights here in a superior double room. Comfortable bed and everything spotlessly clean. Dinner both evenings was delicious - Richard is a very good cook with an excellent palate. Plentiful breakfast and really good coffee. We would recommend a visit to Grotte Pech Merle (five minutes away by car) - fantastic. A first visit for us to this beautiful part of France. We'll be back!

All was brilliant, we would highly recommend the Auberge and Richard and Jane are excellent company and great, attentive hosts. When in the area we will definitely stay again - if they have available rooms.
