Parking close by. The centre of town is easily accessible on foot as are lots of restaurants. Small, friendly, quality hotel. Good coffee at breakfast (always very important!). Helpful staff. No frills. Exactly what we needed as a base for exploring the region.

The description of our room on Booking.yeah was not 100 percent correct. Luckily, I didn't see it before I booked. Otherwise, we would have missed out on a lovely stay.

Awesome to stay in an old, heritage building in the historic town of Cahors. The hotel building is full of charm and character, and we had interesting views from each room. Great location with easy walk to all attractions, cafes, shops etc. The hosts were very friendly and super helpful. They were happy to store our large bags for a week while we went hiking up the valley. We would love to go back to Cahors and will definitely stay at Hotel Jean XXII again.

Hotel was located at the top of the Old Town so convenient for exploring. Quiet location on a small side street. Good croissants at breakfast, best on our trip. Nice welcome - restaurants suitable for vegetarians explained to us (although we couldn't get in as Saturday night so all full!) Able to park easily in free car park near the Church but large public car park opposite hotel as well. Good value.

2 flights of stairs to bedroom - no problem for us and help was offered with cases but we didn't need it, but might be an issue for anyone with more limited mobility.

Friendly lady owner, clean, good location within Cahors. Large bed. Value for money as cost was low. Good continental breakfast on most mornings.

Very basic and dated. No air conditioning. Hardly any room for clothes in small wardrobe. Old fashioned hairdryer. Very little space in the room we were allocated.

The property is really sweet. Historic and charming. Good location, just near the Elise Saint-Barthelemy. The staff was excellent. The woman managing the property was incredibly sweet, helpful, and friendly.

The only complaint was the heat. It isn’t even the height of summer and the room was uncomfortably warm. A fan at the very least would have been nice to have in the room.

Helpful host, comfortable small hotel in a gracious old building thoughtfully restored. Great breakfast. We appreciated that the host could speak English, and also that the hotel was willing to store a large suitcase for us for a few days whilst we rented a houseboat on the river.

Very well located, next to the Jean XXII tower. It was easy to park and for free. The receptionist was very nice and helpful to provide suggestions for places to go.

The bed was a bit hard for me, but that could be just me. I think they could do with some small renovations on the bathroom but again everything is perfectly functional and I am really trying to fill up the box.

A quiet well, furnished room in an historic old building close to town centre. Roomy modern stairs and hallway, and pleasant dining room for breakfast. Comfortable bed and free wifi. Short walk to a selection of bars and restaurants , and old city and sights all within walking distance. A good selection of cold food on breakfast buffet.

That only had one night there

Friendly helpful host who provided prompt early information about access to the hotel which all worked perfectly. She was always ready to provide advice and gave us tips for local restaurants which we loved. Breakfasts generous with usual continental options with additional fruit /cereal/ dried fruit and yogurts also available. Location perfect for walking around Cahors Old Town as it was literallt 10 mins walk into the heart of the old town. We found the rooms quiet overnight.

Good value. This is a basic hotel. Fine for a short stay, but no comfortable communal area or bar etc. Little storage space.; a small table and narrow wardrobe was the only furniture.
