Quiet rural location, lovely garden and pool. Welcoming owner. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast.

It's up a very steep hill (though there is a less steep but longer route), which was only a problem for me because I was on a loaded bicycle! E-bike people had a much easier time 😊

Tricky to find using satnav. Mediocre breakfast, but only 2 euro, and even then they didn't have change for a note so didn't charge anything. You need to drive to Cahors, 30 minutes, for a meal.

We booked the quadruple room which is really like a villa while it had a kitchen, there were no dishes, silverware, pots, pans or cooking utensils. It reminded me of an Italian villa with beautiful tile work on park-like grounds with a beautiful pool. The Continental Breakfast was nice as well although it’s only serve for an hour between eight and nine. If you speak French well the owner is very agreeable, but seemed to get annoyed/ lose patience if you have difficulty communicating in French.

There were absolutely no fans or any air conditioning unit, which was a problem since all the hot air clearly rose to the second floors where the bedrooms were. Even with the windows open very uncomfortable to sleep. All of my sons ended up sleeping on the tiled floor because it was so uncomfortable and hot in the beds. Granted it was unseasonably warm for June, but I can’t see booking here during the summer again since sleeping was almost impossible in heat.
