This hotel is absolutely beautiful, I Ioved the art deco theme and the pop up exhibition that was displayed by Damien Hurst, that was a nice touch,. the breakfast was delicious with the best coffees and you can order omelettes and poach eggs. The location was perfect, beach and bars/restaurants over the road. And a myself and my husband we're celebrating 20 years of marriage, there was a lovely surprise of red petals on the bed in a heart shape, a card and a bottle of chilled wine waiting for you. A lovely personal touch. Staff were very accommodating & the pool was stunning, I can't wait to return one day soon!

The private beach is wonderful and, although it's mad expensive, getting a cabana for one day is a great experience. Attractive restaurant (Le Sud) and bar though far from elite. Nice rooms but can't touch many other I've been to at this price point (€900 per night). We were probably in the cheapest room but still a chunk of change. Essentially, throughout your stay you're paying wildly above the odds (also on the add-ons) to ration access and keep the numbers down and keep the crowd mass affluent. It is what it is. Good area and surprisingly livable city once you get off the front. Good area and great shopping. Gym nice. Planting around the gym and pool area is very pleasant.

Prices, though they're understandable to keep it exclusive. Pool is pretty lame. Beach is where it's at.

Although busy it wasn’t overcrowded

No supervision of very rowdy children at the pool. There was no supervision and the continual screaming ruined what I had hoped would be a relaxing time at the pool. Others felt the same but no one took the initiative to complain.

I don't often give 10/10 and its not often both my wife and I are thoroughly impressed with a hotel. This hotel was an exception. It is truly a wonderful place to be. From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt welcomed and at home. The valet quickly attended to us, with a smile and greeting and took care of my car very respectfully. Our bags were taken care of and the check in was smooth. The staff were all very friendly and genuinely pleasant to be around. I really appreciated their proactiveness as well! our room was truly fantastic. We had the Junior Suite which was very spacious and had a nice view where the ocean was visible. The room decor was wonderful and it was very comfortable. The breakfast spread was great! My wife is a vegetarian so she was quite happy to see a good variety of vegetarian options available. Something you don't see often at continental breakfast buffets. The hotel is situated right on the beachfront and walking distance to all the main attractions. We felt that the value for money was fantastic. The hotel exceeded my expectations. I think it truly offers wonderful value for money. Finally, we had a bit of bad luck due to the weather we experienced during our trip, however our stay at the hotel made up for all of that and we still felt we had a relaxing getaway in the Mediterranean! Simply because being in the hotel was such a pleasure. Without a doubt on our next trip to Cannes or anytime we visit Cote D'Azur we will absolutely be returning to Hotel Martinez!

Frankly, there was pretty much nothing negative about our stay! The only thing is we felt that the water pressure in our shower felt a bit low. Besides this, we were extremely satisfied with our stay

Location, service, and staff friendliness it top we enjoyed everything in the hotel. Surely I will not even thing of other options when it comes to Canne.

The staff were wonderful The staff who cleaned our room were wonderful changing our bedsheets every day. We ate twice and the restaurant once as a Sunday brunch. Superb I have never seen such a feast The Martinez is an iconic hotel and the staff do all they can to make sure that is the experience you have

I don’t like the fact that they hold your credit card details and charge 399£ per day in case you reneige on your agreement. I have never come across this before and am uneasy about it. Also the lifts…. Not enough of them and when being repaired this is what they looked like

The room was beautiful, and I got an upgrade compared to what I had initially booked for. The hall was well decorated for Christmas. Staff was kind, attentive and offering personalized service, making efforts to engage when you talk to them, and remember your name. Thanks in particular to Vanessa for her friendly welcome at the restaurant for breakfast.

Not much to fault. Maybe the barman should not encourage guests to for for expensive drinks when it is not necessary (no need to recommend a high quality rum if mixed with coke). The "voiturier" service could also be a bit cheaper than sixty euros per day. I know this is a grand hotel, but it was off season and the hotel did not look full.

Very beautiful hotel! We had a beautiful room, very clean and comfortable. Also very nice facilities with a nice pool and spa, the quality of the room service is very high, delicious food especially the fries. The hotel has also a beach club just in front with a beautiful sandy beach, clean sea water and nice food. The new Martinez bar is beautifully decorated and has very nice cocktails and ambiance. All the staff is very polite and always smiling. Special mention to Vasilis in the front desk who was very helpful and professional, Roxani for her kindness and also Charlotte of the Guest Relations for resolving a small issue that we had during our stay. Overall we had a very nice stay, very relaxing and we will definitely come back. Thank you very much for everything.

A phenomenal experience staying at Hotel Martinez during the Film Festival. If you're a film fanatic or simply love spotting celebs, this is the place to be. Watching them come down the famous staircase while in the lobby on their way to the festival was a real treat. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed and pillows; a great night's sleep for sure. My room backed onto the pool, which also offered some great views of BTS during their photoshoots. As the rooms are spacious and not very close to the neighbouring ones, they provided good soundproofing. Even when people walked outside, you could hardly hear anything. The staff were very attentive and always polite. Security was everywhere, and entrance to the hotel was well organized to ensure the safety and privacy of guests. All in all, I had a great experience and will be returning next year, availability permitting.

There were only a couple of things that could be improved. One was the bacon at breakfast, which was unfortunately overcooked, and the lattes, which were served in tall, narrow glasses that made them quite hard to drink properly. The second issue was that every morning at 7 a.m., a grinding noise came from the wall, which woke me up. Thankfully, the noise stopped about 15 minutes later, allowing me to get some additional sleep.
