The location cannot be beaten for convenience and being right in the centre of everything! The staff were amazing- so friendly and welcoming. The hotel rooms are basic but they are clean and comfortable. We were able to gain access to the square with our car after speaking with the security staff on the roundabout and could drop our luggage off right at the door. The hotel staff will help you work this out if you ask them. We were able to leave our luggage the day we arrived and go off and enjoy Cassis for our overnight stay. My husband parked our car up at one of the free car parks on the edge of town after dropping off the luggage and he walked back down( there is also a bus service). When we went to leave there was a market right outside the hotel so we took our luggage up to the Casino Barriere corner and loaded there- easy! The photo shows the hotel above the restaurant on the end of the roundabout. I have to mention the staff one more time- they were all so lovely and friendly.

The bathroom in our room was a little on the old side but it was clean. No real problems when you consider where you are located. I’d stay there again !

The hotel is really conveniently located, at very centre near the harbour, lots of cafes, restaurants and the tourist office. After reserving the room, we were messaged and asked whether we would like to stay in a room to the front of the house with sea view or on its village side as there is a night club downstairs which might be loud. We stayed in the latter and there was still quite a bit of noise there too, but it is tolerable when you completely close the window and we were warned in advance. In the hot months, it could be difficult - not sure if the room had air-conditioning. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. We were allowed to leave our luggage there before check-in and after check-out which we maxed out completely. There is a kettle with some tea bags and coffee in the room which might be handy after a windy day out. There was space to pack out the luggage conveniently. The bathroom was also nice, clean and had all that you'd need.

Noise from the street, thin walls and/or doors so you can hear the neighbours and noise from the hallways.

The reception staff were all very friendly when we talked to them. The room was super clean and the bed very comfortable. We booked a harbour view which was perfect for enjoying the ambiance of Cassis and the location was perfect for the beach, restaurants, shopping and visiting the Calanques.

We liked everything about Hotel Cassitel. In general, parking in Cassis can be a challenge. However, we utilized the free parking and took the shuttle bus down to the harbour area.

Perfect location next to the port and just steps from all the cafes, restaurants and shops. We were there on a Friday and the markets were on right out the front. Our room was spacious and clean, bed was made daily. Great breakfast and the staff were so lovely and help with where to park our car. We had a room with the village view - lots of reviews have said it is very loud, however it was fine for us with the windows closed. Would definitely recommend.

The bed was a little hard

PROS: Location, location, location The hotel is right on the waterfront and in the center of restaurants and excursion activities. The scenery was breathtaking and we scrapped plans to explore the coast and stayed in town. We took a Calanques tour in the afternoon. The staff was very friendly and professional. Audrey the manager (?) tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast offerings were ample, very typical for French locations, and free parking was available off-site, with either a walk or a shuttle. This is key benefit as Cassis can get very crowded.

CONS: Check while booking to learn the local French holidays if you want the balcony rooms. We booked a room with a balcony, which while booking, I knew would be above a nightclub. It was early May, a Tuesday and Wednesday night, and the nightclub at that time was only open on weekends, However, there were two(!) consecutive holidays that we did not know about, of course on our two nights, and the nightclub below was open until 5am and 4am. Audrey was kind enough to offer to change our room after the first night, but we had already left for the day's activities and did not have the time to repack and move, so it was our own decision to stay. We loved the hotel, just urging you to check ahead.

Location is FABULOUS--right near the harbor, where all the restaurants are, and just up the street from the bus stop, where we got the shuttle to the car park where we parked our rental car (hotel has no parking). It's also right near one of the main beaches. Many people complain in reviews about the noise, but we were contacted by the hotel ahead of time and asked if we wanted a "quiet" room (I think this means in the back), and we said yes, and it was plenty quiet (and we are light sleepers). We had plenty of tea and coffee in the room, and the room was cool, though it was very hot outside while we were there. We were able to walk straight from the hotel to hike the Calanques, to hike up to Cape Canaille, and to all restaurants and beaches.

Staff were diffident or even surly. Also, as many note, there's no elevator, but we didn't care about that.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the center of Cassis and close to the beach. The room with a small balcony and a view of the port is nice. The bed is 180 cm wide and very comfortable. We will definitely go back there!

Unpleasant smell from the toilet.

This hotel was the perfect place to rest and unwind. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach and downtown. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, making it easy to enjoy the local food scene. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and convenience!

Excellent location for the city centre - pretty much beachfront. It was 3-5min walk to the beach and central to all things. Super friendly front desk staff. Pillows were AMAZINGLY comfortable. Balcony was super cute for breakfast and dinner dates.

Location was on the waterfront yet on the side street. view up to the castle from the balcony. Breakfast was very good - lots to choose from - fresh pastries every morning. Room was clean. Location was excellent.

Front of house staff were varied some ready to help others indifferent. Parking in Cassis is a nightmare, steep streets, old village so - understandable.
