Beautiful house, although we weren’t there long enough to fully appreciate it, arriving at midnight and leaving after breakfast. We had a suite on the 2nd floor, for our family of 5, which was very big. If you want a hotel, that's modern, then this isn’t the place for you. You’re very much staying in someones old manor home. Breakfast was a continental selection which was lovely, with lots of produce grown at the property or from neighbouring houses. Pierre was great with his communication from the moment we booked, answering questions I had and then checking in on our arrival day. We will be staying here again for our return journey.

A truly exceptional stay. A beautiful chateau deep in the Normandy countryside. The host is friendly and kind so you really feel at home. It's much more than just a room and breakfast - there's also a sitting room and billiard table, a huge garden you can sit out in, and a 4k walk you can do from the front door.

I liked everything! But be aware that it is more like staying with a friend (if your friend lived in a beautiful chateau) than being in a hotel. Everything is clean but clean like a clean home, not like a chain hotel where it's all disposable or wrapped in plastic. To me, that makes it better, but I guess it might not be for everyone.

The owner Pierre is a very kind and helpful person. He ownes this house and lives there with his family. The property is an old building 18-19 century with a large garden. Room is spaceous and contains everything you need for a short stay. Breakfast was superb, including the products hand-made by the owner. It was lovely to sit outside in the evening and then to play billiards in the living room.

Probably because the house if very old, there were couple of domestic spiders living there :) also the shower should be changed or maintained, as the door is hardly closing.

This is a small old chateau set out in the country in a very quiet rural location. It is quirky and retains its original features including sloping wooden floors, heavy old doors with large keys and matching furniture. We loved it. The bedroom and bathroom may look old fashioned but were comfortable. The host Pierre was very accommodating and recommended an excellent restaurant nearby for dinner. He also got up early to give us breakfast as our ferry departure time was changed and we had to leave before 8am. Breakfast was in a large dining room with an extensive table set with bread and croissants, fruit & juices, local cheeses, eggs from his neighbours chickens, walnuts from his trees and jams including his delicious home made rhubarb jam. The world map on the wall was an especially nice touch, we were invited to add a pin for our home location and see his many worldwide visitors.

Beautiful old chateau, faded grandeur, a real French experience. Basic b&b as expected with wonderfully friendly and helpful host, Pierre. A great breakfast with local (mainly from property) hard boiled eggs, rhubarb jam, walnuts - as well as the usual coffee, tea, pastries, meats, cheeses, yoghurts. We stayed in a suite which had two v spacious double rooms, each with bathroom, plus a smaller bedroom.

Some will say the faded part of the faded grandeur, but I had read reviews. Looked at photos and so it was exactly as expected.

The host, Pierre, was very friendly and jolly. He made us most welcome and put us at ease - it seemed as if he was sharing his home with you rather than you being a guest. The room and bathroom were spacious with good facilities. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice: fresh bread, pastries, eggs, cheese, yoghurt and lovely homemade preserves. The breakfast room was also available if you wanted to eat your own food during the day in a dining room rather than in your room. The surrounding area was very quiet and good for walks. The chateau was dog-friendly and with no additional charge which was a bonus.

The water pressure in the bathroom was rather lacking but it is a period property which has retained all its features so it's probably only to be expected.

The host was so friendly and welcoming. He could not do enough for us. Nearby restaurants were closed as it was Sunday, and so he suggested we order a takeaway and let us eat it in the breakfast room - using the hotel’s plates, glasses, napkins,etc, and leaving them for him to wash up! The place was unique- a genuine chateau. It had lovely rooms. Loads of space. Breakfast was an excellent spread of breads, croissants, cold meats, cheeses, home made jams and jellies, free range eggs, and fruit and nuts(from the garden). Everything was excellent.

The large manor is situated on a beautiful piece of property. The included breakfast was served downstairs at a long table. We ate fresh eggs from the roaming chickens and walnuts from the trees. There was meats, cheeses and more. The host came down in the morning to greet us. He was charming. My partner and I enjoyed walking around the property and sitting under the big tree. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

If you don't need the home and cleanliness to be up to hotel standards, you will be okay. I tend to focus on dirt and wear and tear, whereas my partner is much more forgiving.

Beautiful setting for this authentic french chateau set in lovely gardens. The host Pierre was helpful, charming and very diligent. He worked really hard to ensure guests had a good experience. He communicated very well and even makes his own jam. The rhubarb ginger and orange confection was fantastic for breakfast with the lovely fresh croissants. The location was out of the way with designated secure guest parking area and the chateau grounds extensive. Our room was as advertised and was clean and comfortable - we had a great nights sleep. Excellent Wi-Fi.

The water flow in the bathroom was very slow.

Pierre was a marvellous host. Very friendly and accommodating and due to very bad weather we arrived late, but Pierre was there to give us a warm welcome. The house and grounds are stunning. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, particularly with Pierre’s homemade rhubarb jam, hard boiled eggs from his chickens and a great selection of cheeses. Delicious! About 30 minutes drive from Dieppe port, it made an ideal stopover before catching a ferry. We would certainly stay there again. Thank you very much, Pierre.
