Location / modern / great staff - especially in the restaurant / lovely, comfy beds / spacious room

We booked their for the leisure facilities in particular but in our arrival were told the pool shuts at 7pm and didn’t open until 10pm - we had travelled many hours looking forward to a relaxing dip so this was very disappointing and then not to be able to have an early morning swim before our departure at 9am for the ferry was a further disappointment. I appreciate it’s a Spa and it has other pampering facilities guests can use but having a pool with such restrictive opening times would potentially make me look for another hotel in the area in the future. The rest of the experience in the hotel was great!

I liked the people who ran it most of all, particularly the reception team who were excellent at their job, very knowledgeable, efficient, professional and friendly.

It was more about the building and system that I found awkward and sometimes difficult. The doors are very heavy to open, as a renovated building (which is lovely by the way) that in itself makes it difficult for people who have mobility issues; the back terrace for example is not entirely accessible as there is no slope only steps. I found the meal times rather limiting and the fact that outside of those times I was unable to purchase a light snack. My husband was in hospital and I really did not always feel like having a meal but rather something light which was not available to me.

A very impressive and large hotel built around a former teacher training school, this spar has (almost) everything you might require. Basement parking with EV charging was a bonus.

The breakfast was far from the best we have found in our travels in France. Seems like they are saving pence where they can. Also, no soap provided for the wash handbasins in the ensuite! There was a liquid soap dispenser in the bath/shower but that was the other side of a glass screen and required one to climb into the bath. The hotel is well beyond a gentle stroll into the city centre and we spent quite a bit on Taxis to go to eat in the evening and sight-seeing the following morning.

Cleanliness,modern amenities, comfortable beds..

Cleaning staff were a little negligent in replenishing items. We asked for hand soap several times and never received it. Had to ask for shower gel twice and only got it because my husband saw supervisor in the hall and told her we had asked at front desk and never received it .Parking was very tight in the garage.Very difficult to get in and out.Pretty far walking distance from restaurants, etc. Had to Uber most of the time when we didn't have rental car.

This newly completed Hyatt hotel is a renovated grand old school building, providing an interesting experience for an overnight stay - juxtaposing the old surroundings with modern hotel functionality. The room was comfortable with good amenities. A 15 minute downhill walk takes you into Rouen centre, which has many interesting sights including a beautiful cathedral, there are also plenty of good cafes and restaurants to visit. The walk uphill back to the hotel is a little more taxing, but is good exercise after a decent dinner. The hotel also provides secure on site parking.

Very large, beautiful hotel, with wonderful territory and cozy rooms I am very happy that I can come with my beloved dog - thank you for that.

The reception staff are disgruntled, unfriendly and off-putting. We were also very surprised that the spa in the hotel is paid for by the hotel guests. We have been traveling for over 15 years, have been to 100 hotels and the spa is included everywhere

It is an impressive hotel and I loved the interior design. The bed was extremely comfortable. The terrace area was very lovely as was the coffee.

The food was not good. The Caesar salad that I ordered was not a Caesar salad, it had egg and tomatoes and the falafels it came with were very dry. Even as a salad it was very average. The stew my husband ordered was also not great.

I selected this hotel as I was looking for a comfortable room with twin beds and a parking. The hotel is in a nice old building which has been beautifully renovated. The bedroom was spacious, very pleasant, comfortable beds, well insulated. The staff was nice, the breakfast very good with plenty of choice. Overall a very pleasant stay!

It was perfect. Maybe a bit far from the old town but I choose this hotel as it had on site parking. So my choice 😉.

The window in our room didn’t shut properly. Poor choice of tea and coffee on tray and no milk. I couldn’t access the menu for the restaurant online or in my room . The hotel is a 20 min walk from the centre of town. Breakfast seems excessively expensive ( so we didn’t have it) Parking is also excessively expensive especially as the hotel is not right in the town centre.

Very enjoyable stay, and would definitely recommend as long as you don't mind being just a little out of the centre.Bus or taxi home in the evening is the way to go, rather than a 20 minute walk up a steep hill! The room was a nice size, well appointed and the bed especially comfortable . Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food and the one lunch we had was also good quality.
