Staff were very helpful and friendly, before and during our stay. The hotel is in a restricted area, but the staff gave us perfect instructions for getting through traffic barriers without any stress. The room was comfortable. The hotel is really well located for exploring the historic centre of Rouen with plenty of restaurants nearby, but was peaceful nonetheless. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. For us it was a perfect overnight stop on the way to the channel ferry.

We note that other guests have commented on the parking. It is not clear from the description that access to the garage is via a vehicle lift. Luckily we have a small car so manoeuvring was not too difficult. Furnishings and fittings are beginning to look a little tired - it was not possible to close the curtains in our room, for example.

Great staff, nice location, a very nice breakfast although, like in much of France, the coffee doesn't really meet our likely "too-high" expectations. This is not a "full service" hotel, meaning that we handled our own bags, there was self-parking in the convenient garage, and I don't think there was room service. But if those things don't really matter to you - they did not to us - this is a very nice choice. And by the way, Rouen is a seriously under the radar destination in many ways. We loved the town, the joan of arc museum, the amaziing gothic cathedrals (not just the one that Monet made so famous), and the Joan of Arc Church, and the many food choices at the local restaurants.

Excellent place to stay and explore Rouen. Hotel with private underground parking in the center of old town. All attractions as Cathedral and Museum Fine Arts within walking distance. Definitely recomended.

Wonderful location, the main square is around the corner, yet it was quiet at night. The breakfast was very very good: hot (sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes), and cold: 3 cakes, many pastries, cereals, breads, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place is spotless and well decorated. I loved the homey library feel with books everywhere. Comfortable beds and well-thought out bathroom.

This was not something I could say I didn't like. However, I suggest that decaffeinated coffee be available alongside the caffeinaged coffee machines in the breakfast area. I have heart palpitations with caffeinated coffee and I had to go to the front desk for my coffee. I drink 3 mugs every morning so this meant I had to disturb the front desk person so that they could make my coffee. I do appreciate that they don't provide instant coffee (a terrible invention). So the coffee is freshly brewed but taking care of my coffee addiction was a little awkward.

Amazing location in a pedestrian zone right by a delightful central square with an incredible market. We arrived in Rouen by car, and also had great parking. Very stylish lobby and front patio. Staff was incredibly helpful.

Room was a bit light on storage space, with a single small closet and no other dresser or shelves. (The storage is fine for one person, but with the two of us we had to leave the bulk of our things in our luggage.) The pedestal-style sink in the bathroom also doesn't leave much counter space for toiletries. Was a bit loud in the morning (but not atypically so).

We asked for a room on lower level if there was no elevator... BONUS room was on the first floor and we had 2 elevators. Amazing location, a clean, modern, sustainable establishment.

I specifically searched for a hotel with parking options. As I am unfamiliar with the city or surroundings we had trouble reaching the location. As it turns out it is in an area that can not be reached by car at certain times? All roads were closed, so we opted to park in a garage nearby and walked the short way to the hotel. As we arrived I was informed that I should have made reservations for parking, but our garage ticket was stamped so that we had a good discount on that fee. After we checked out I received an email in French from the hotel. As an international traveler, one hopes to be recognized and communicated accordingly.

Location and breakfast. The location is in the very center but in a quiet street and in the beautiful court yard, which made it super nice and quiet. The breakfast was the nicest out of 5 hotels we stayed in 11 days trip: great coffee, freshest pastries, awesome homemade jams, really good hot food options, nice outside seating area

Nothing really bad. But the little things that usually make the vacation memorable weren't 100%. The room was good but not cozy. I guess like all those (not many) Best Western that I stayed in. The parking was overbooked. Couldn't get the spot. Parked on the underground lot 5 min away and actually saved a few bucks. Some girls at the front desk didn't care to help or explain to us - who were in town for the first time. Thank God others were a lot better.

Room at ground floor with lovely little terrace in the yard. Relatively large bathroom. Room with nice features. Excellent location in core downtown.

Noise of cooling fans till late evening somewhat diminishing the pleasure of sitting in the terrace; noise possibly from near room air conditioning in the morning; noise from outside works starting in the morning (not a fault of hotel, though). Yet, positive features were much prevailing for a nice stay.

The location was great. A quiet, charming hotel steps from Le Marche. Le petit dejeuner etait bon. The entrance is in a private courtyard which keeps it quiet.

I thought I had reserved a parking spot in their garage (entrance in the courtyard). I had not, so I needed to park in the Vieux Marche parking lot at a somewhat discounted price. The garage is well-managed and the spaces a tad wider than typical French garages -- all good. Tip: I would have appreciated a map from the hotel as I needed to haul luggage over cobblestones and pavers which is typically a bit jarring -- so the quickest route to the entrance would have been appreciated.

This is a review of an apartment in Vicenza and has nothing to do with Gustave Flaubert in Rouen, where I did not stay. You are around the corner and an uphill walk to the (Palladian) center. You are just around the corner from Tourist Information and a marvelous example of Palladio's work, Palazzo Chiericati.

Very nice, but the pillows were tough. You are very much down town in this small city. There is a taxi stand right near you, and you might need a taxi to take you to Villa Rotonda and elsewhere you want to see outside of town. It's a good place to be.
