The house is situated in a rural, peaceful location. We were very warmly welcomed by the hosts. They kindly provided us with an evening meal, vegetarian at our request, which was absolutely delicious and very good value. Breakfast was equally good with bread from a local boulangerie and home-made yogurt, jam and cake.

Breakfast was good, typical continental. On my second visit the host gave me some delicious homemade cake. The room was very comfortable and you are completely independent. The were very hospitable hosts.

I found the road easily but I was looking for a sign eg. a Chambre D’ote to mark the property. The first time I had trouble finding it.

The dinner was very good, all courses were home-made by Veronique, who is a superb cook. The vegetables were all from the garden, except for the cepe mushrooms, which had been collected by Phillipe from the forest that morning ! A most enjoyable stay

What a lovely and very talented couple our hosts were. We prefer to stay at smaller stop overs and this was convenient to a town to eat, the accommodation was lovely, very clean and comfortable. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and whilst I used my school French they also used their school English and we managed really well.

My only criticism would be that there wasn’t air conditioning or a fan in the room and I had to open the windows to let some air in overnight and consequently was badly attacked by mosquitoes. I had managed 5 weeks in Spain with very few.

We stayed here for one night while visiting Normandy for a weekend. The owners are super nice, very friendly and very talkative -- but only speak French and little bit of English. Which was fine with us, as it gave me an opportunity to practice. The room was very clean and comfortable. The unique feature of this place is the possibility to get a dinner after arrival for a small additional payment. The owner is a great cook, and the four-course meal was well worth the 22 euros per person. The property is located in a small village, so there are probably few other option there to eat out. The food was delicious, and the 30 years old calvados at the end of the meal was amazing! The owners are two musicians -- flute and clarinet -- who are very knowledgeable in a range of topics. We managed to cover music, history, and economics, despite my limited French. We had no firm plans for the next day when we arrived, so they prepared an itinerary for us while we slept. Our brief stay really felt more like visiting friends.

The room was a bit on the small side but we had little luggage so it was ok with us. But if we travelled with two large suitcases, we would struggle to find the place to unpack them.

The property was definitely more countryside than suburban but that is what I like. The hosts, Veronique and Phillipe, were attentive, friendly and helpful. We found a lot in common to talk about despite their limited English and my limited French. Was delighted to find that they were both musicians and that their son was a member of the Quartet Modigliani. Veronique and I discovered that we were both flautists. The property was beautifully clean and well presented, food in the evening and for the breakfast was both plentiful and tasty. Nothing was too much trouble and thank you to both of them for helping me sort a route to the Tunnel when my GPS decided to go AWOL. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to France. Excellent accommodation for either couples or single travellers - very secure. Thank you both for a wonderful overnight stop on my way back to England - I enjoyed your house, food and the company.

Nothing - everything that was provided and offered was wonderful.

Very friendly owners who, although we both spoke franglaise!, did explain everything. Parking was nice and secure. Shower was lovely, but could have done with a door or curtain to stop the water from entering the bedroom. I had to use a towel.

After reading the reviews I thought dinner was provided, but turned out I had to order in advance! My fault, not the owners fault.

We were having a quick stopover driving from England to Southern Spain. This accomodation was perfect for us. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed very confortable. Great shower too. Hosts were lovely and welcoming. Can't fault it.

It was a small quiet location. Very comfortable and good facilities. The owners were friendly and between our French and they’re English we had a lovely conversation at breakfast. Most of the breakfast was homemade including the delicious yoghurt.

Breakfast was good with homemade, home grown produce. Quiet location, not far off the motorway. I booked using the app and arrived at their door 15 mins later.

Could had some milk for the tea/coffee in the room.
