The staff was nice and courteous, especially the gentleman at the reception who welcomed us at breakfast was very kind and friendly. Room furnishing is basic but adequate and functional, the bed is comfy. Breakfast was served at the Mercure hotel and was excellent, great variety of choices, everything was delicious. Secure underground parking is a big plus.

Our room was quite small. It was difficult to move around, especially when you have to open large suitcases. There were only bath towels in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have hand towels as well. Location is a bit farther from the city centre than we hoped (about 15 min walk), but not a big deal for us. Access to hotel parking area is a bit tricky.

We had a fantastic experience at the Ibis Rouen Centre Champ de Mars. The hotel was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out a breeze. One of the absolute highlights was the excellent breakfast—a generous and beautifully presented buffet with a wide variety of fresh options, from buttery croissants and crusty baguettes to eggs, cheese, fruit, and even some local specialties. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the coffee was perfect to start the day. The location is great—just a short walk along the river into the historic center of Rouen, yet quiet enough for a peaceful night’s rest. The on-site parking was convenient and secure, which was a big plus for me. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rouen. A great value for the quality and service received.

Located in quiet place, 15-20 mins by walk to city centre. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Big and comfy bed. Good enough sound proof. Fair room size.

Pillows were rather a bit more softer than should be, as for us. Basic 3-in-1 soap/gel/shampoo - it looked cheap. Despite breakfast is shared with hotel Mercure from same Hotels Group Accor, which located in neighbour building, we couldn't say it was very good: limited options of dishes, from vegetables - just radish, usual omelette as garnish etc. Tea was good though, not bagged.

Check in was very efficient. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. The underground car parking was OK although it's easy to miss the entrance and is very tight for larger cars. Allowing our dog to stay was much appreciated.

The lift wasn't working on our check out day. Not too bad for us because we were not on an upper floor but would have been a pain if our room was on one of the higher floors.

On the Sunday morning the breakfast was superb. Calm atmosphere and everything to hand. The staff were very presentable and couldn’t help enough.

The breakfast on the Monday morning was an awful experience. Far too many people all turning up at one time.. food was running out as if it had been ravaged by locust’s.. and there were no eggs out!!! When I asked , I was told there wasn’t any!! Then I spoke to someone else and they went to collect some.. but the egg boiler had not been turned on!! So I personally turned it on and waited quite some time for it to warm up.. by that time the eggs had all been taken by others who had presumed they had been cooked.. so I completely missed out.. so obviously that part I was totally not impressed with considering I’d booked and paid for breakfast.. reception was que’d too so not much point in raising my upset there.. I left to eat breakfast else where.

This was our third visit and we were thrilled to see Yassine’s kind, smiling face again on reception. Despite it being a year since our last visit, he remembered us and welcomed us warmly. Yassine is a credit to the hotel , always going above and beyond to ensure his guests are comfortable and happy. Great to have safe parking. Location excellent. The breakfast in the Mercure restaurant is 10/10 - fabulous! We shall be back again!

We have stayed many times. The new restaurant area is very good with a lovely ambience. The breakfast is one of the best. The new restaurant area etc. has allowed the the hotel to go up several notches. Great staff, with a lovely welcome. Lovely walk by the river, even without a dog.. Thanks. Tim & Greta ( Ps. Good location near to all the historic sites. Room was clean but sadly in need of some TLC and deep cleaning on the carpets. Bed spotlessly clean so too the shower. Staff fantastic, helpful and caring. Car parking relatively cheap for an overnight stay. Reception staff excellent.

Communal hallways need some attention. Carpets in hallway to rooms need good deep clean and chiped/scuffed walls need a lick of fresh paint.to create a positive first impression A good hoover of carpets required as pits of paper and rubbish evident near lift so 1st impressions were not so good.

I liked the fact that we had air conditioning The bed was cozy and the room was nice The staff was the most polite staff I ever met in my entire life Everyone was so helpful and so kind that I was very at ease

the bathroom is very little and it seems made of plastic but a part from that everything is perfectly fine

To stay in this hotel feels like staying in a very special top range hotel. The staff make you feel important. The breakfast makes you feel like staying an extra day. There are loads of cosy quiet corners not far from the bar to snuggle down with a book. The bedrooms provide everything you need for a great stay.
