Located in quiet place, 15-20 mins by walk to city centre. Friendly staff. Room was clean. Big and comfy bed. Good enough sound proof. Fair room size.

Pillows were rather a bit more softer than should be, as for us. Basic 3-in-1 soap/gel/shampoo - it looked cheap. Despite breakfast is shared with hotel Mercure from same Hotels Group Accor, which located in neighbour building, we couldn't say it was very good: limited options of dishes, from vegetables - just radish, usual omelette as garnish etc. Tea was good though, not bagged.

On the Sunday morning the breakfast was superb. Calm atmosphere and everything to hand. The staff were very presentable and couldn’t help enough.

The breakfast on the Monday morning was an awful experience. Far too many people all turning up at one time.. food was running out as if it had been ravaged by locust’s.. and there were no eggs out!!! When I asked , I was told there wasn’t any!! Then I spoke to someone else and they went to collect some.. but the egg boiler had not been turned on!! So I personally turned it on and waited quite some time for it to warm up.. by that time the eggs had all been taken by others who had presumed they had been cooked.. so I completely missed out.. so obviously that part I was totally not impressed with considering I’d booked and paid for breakfast.. reception was que’d too so not much point in raising my upset there.. I left to eat breakfast else where.

This was our third visit and we were thrilled to see Yassine’s kind, smiling face again on reception. Despite it being a year since our last visit, he remembered us and welcomed us warmly. Yassine is a credit to the hotel , always going above and beyond to ensure his guests are comfortable and happy. Great to have safe parking. Location excellent. The breakfast in the Mercure restaurant is 10/10 - fabulous! We shall be back again!

Good location near to all the historic sites. Room was clean but sadly in need of some TLC and deep cleaning on the carpets. Bed spotlessly clean so too the shower. Staff fantastic, helpful and caring. Car parking relatively cheap for an overnight stay. Reception staff excellent.

Communal hallways need some attention. Carpets in hallway to rooms need good deep clean and chiped/scuffed walls need a lick of fresh paint.to create a positive first impression A good hoover of carpets required as pits of paper and rubbish evident near lift so 1st impressions were not so good.

We have stayed many times. The new restaurant area is very good with a lovely ambience. The breakfast is one of the best. The new restaurant area etc. has allowed the the hotel to go up several notches. Great staff, with a lovely welcome. Lovely walk by the river, even without a dog.. Thanks. Tim & Greta ( Ps. So we’ve been touring France for 15 days, and chose this hotel for our first overnight stay! We were so impressed by the whole experience that we had no hesitation in returning for our final night before returning to the UK! The staff are so polite and accommodating…. (A special mention to YASSINE on the front desk who is amazing! He went above and beyond on both our visits!) The hotel in general is superbly situated…. Just a few minutes stroll to the main market square and the medieval town. Most highly recommended in every respect! 😎

Absolutely nothing!!

IBIS never fails but this was definitely one of the best. We parked at the hotel - worth it and very comfortable to simply go up the lift and you're in the hotel. There, we were greeted with a warm welcome from a very friendly receptionist. He was also very helpful in offering some wise tips on going around and visiting the city. Room was super - clean, comfortable, with all the requirements and toiletry supplies. Bathroom was spacious and comfortable to use. WIFI excellent. Breakfast is plentiful and abundant with ham, cheese, bread, cereals, eggs, fresh fruit and a good selection of tea/coffee. Perfect location to enjoy the beautiful city of Rouen. Definitely cannot complain. Whenever we chose IBIS/Mercure hotel, we were satisfied with overall experience. Would definitely keep this trend ;)

The fact that we only spent one night there :( Parking facilities are quite tight, especially way in and out - at least they are one way in and one way out as a loop. Some parts of the hotel need some minor fixing. Opt for upper rooms, ideally not with sharing corridor door to be quiter. Would appreciate if there were some TV channels in english.

Lovely friendly hotel. Car parking under hotel was easy to find (yes they are tight spaces but we managed ok and we had a 4x4 car), reception staff were very friendly and welcoming and even helped us to celebrate our anniversary which was so very much appreciated and a lovely gesture (Thank you!). The bar was well stocked and the breakfast exceeded our expectations with a great choice. The staff here are so nice and kind and friendly. Rooms are great and very comfy. Hotel is in a good location with a short walk to the centre of Rouen and the river too. We can highly recommend.

Being myself a Hotelier, as I already shared with the General Manager, I was ,particularly, impressed with the very welcoming and tremendously helpful staff with a particular assistance and support extended to me by the Supervisor at the Front Desk by the name of Karin and equally, Christelle. They both truly went the "extra mile"! Also, I appreciated the most friendly demeanor of the General Manager!

The 3 negative points in respect of my stay were, as follows: - The quality of the food in the Restaurant in the evening was absolutely below satndard. - Also, in total contrast to the Staff at the Front Desk, the waiter, Emmanuel was visibly totally uninterested and not at all friendly! - The location is not at all practical fro someone like me , who was on foot and thus, without any transport to the actual center of Rouen!

Good location for those driving into Rouen (close to main road so no need to drive into small streets, and plenty of parking available). The location was not only great for this reason, but it was also a super easy short walk to the centre, so brilliant to be able to drive in, park up but then easily access the centre on foot. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable, nice varied breakfast.

Would have liked a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room. Concrete pillars in the underground car park make it quite tricky and tight to park - beware if you have a big or wide car. That said, there are loads of spaces (the car park is multi-level, so when we struggled with the first parking spot we’d found, we were able to go down a few levels and find a spot that had a bit more room either side).
