They charged even though we had already paid for the room on Booking.com, according to the receptionist it hadn't gone through. Once it was clear that the payment was made, they promised to make a refund to my card. Two days later at check out they again promised it had been done and it would take banking days but now almost a month later and several emails this has not been done. So don't pay anything at reception regardless of what they say if you've already paid via booking or other saits.

The location is perfect if you're attending an opera performance (which we were) as the theatre is virtually next door. The underground garage of the hotel is accessed via a VERY narrow passage - our medium-sized car just made it. A modern SUV-type car probably wouldn't and would also find manoeuvring inside very tricky.

Very short breakfast hours - not condusive to a lazy holiday.

It was quite difficultly to find the hotel parking.

I put maximum ratings for the hotel potential - it’s just opened and has still some issues but I’m sure they will be shortly resolved… Good things: - perfect location, 5min walk to the city centre - all the hotel and rooms are brand new - friendly and supportive staff

- Pool area arranged in a very inconvenient way - no place to change clothes (only in toilet), showers are exposed to people pathing through the main hall… water in the pool is very cold. Pool is small - only for kids fun. - during our visit the pool was not working in the morning due to some issue even it was stated that it is open from 7AM - worth checking in advance - Bathrobes are available only in executive rooms and cannot be purchased separately. - Breakfast is tasty but variety of food is very limited

We loved the room and the fantastic shower. Bed was fabulous (great pillows) and the huge TV. The location was wonderful. The reception on checkout couldn't have been more helpful and gave us a late checkout of 3pm.

The reception staff in the evening were very polite but we were surprised they didn't know that parking outside for a motorcycle was free and legal. They suggested paying 19 euros for underground parking. We asked for an upgrade to a room overlooking the river but were told there were none available despite the fact that only seven guests were staying in the hotel. (It's possible not all these rooms were completed in this brand new hotel but they should have told us that). We also requested an upgrade to a larger room given the pool and the gym were not yet completed but were told this was not possible. It would have been a nice gesture but we were very happy with our room.

The hotel is situated in the very heart of the city and offers an underground parking. The hotel building is of Art-Deco style and there is an interesting bas-relief inside. Our room was spacey and the floor is laminated (not carpeted). The breakfast is very good. The check-out is at 12 a.m (not at 11 a.m.), which is also an advantage.

The hotel is pricey. The rooms aren't equipped with fridges. The toilet is too tall for an average person to sit on. There is an electric kettle in the room, but I needed to ask for a couple of tea mugs, as there were only two tiny disposable paper "glasses" in the room. I was lucky enough to put my rented car to the underground garage, though it seemed me small to the hotel size; not sure it's available for every guest coming by car.

Helpful front desk staff went out of their way to help me out. I arrived early and my room wasn't ready so they offered me baggage storage and an umbrella and offered to call as soon as the room was ready

I wasn't sure how to get a coffee or a drink at the hotel. The room coffee was instant. That is not a good thing!

We loved the friendly staff and the look and feel of the hotel including the grand entrance staircase. The hotel is in a repurposed government building and retains some original features. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with nicely designed furniture. It's in a really good location close to the old town, and it has parking at a reasonable cost. We didn't have meals in the hotel so I can't comment on the food.

We were hoping to use the swimming pool in the morning but it wasn't open until later in the day.

New hotel with great facilities and a lovely restaurant. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

the parking which was difficult to find and access and it’s a small car park. Also the front needs finishing off as the ledge between the pavement and the hotel is uneven and a trip hazard. I saw a few people tripping up!! Doesn’t have a late night bar. There is no step free access directly into the hotel. You have to go via the restaurant, so not sure how that would work if the restaurant is closed.
