Host is helpful and punctual. Room is pleasantly furnished with all amenities (tea/coffee maker and tv). Beds were superb. Bathroom perfect. Everything was very clean. Location very central to explore the city

A central location means one also hears city noises. The chemical toilet is very noisy when flushing. This would wake your partner up when travelling together.

Host contacted me via booking.com and text message to coordinate arrival time. We were also able to speak by phone so that we had the timing of arrival within 15 minutes and he was able to give us the key and show us around. The place is an rather old building, but the place we stayed in is modern inside with comfortable beds and a easy to use and nice bathroom. The place looks out onto the Place des Carmes --which makes the location perfect. It is an easy walk to the famous Rouen Cathedral and because of our host, we also got to see the light show at 11 pm projected onto the Cathedral!

Parking is at Hotel de Ville-- a short distance away, but plan accordingly with luggage. There is some street parking for unloading.

The property was really central, close to all the bars, restaurants, cathedral etc. Very nicely furnished and very comfortable bed. Coffee machine and microwave provided. It had 2 large windows overlooking the square. Parking was 2 minutes away at a charge. The owner is really nice and helpful! Would definitely stay there again if in Rouen

Location was excellent. Really appreciate host telling us where to park our car and giving restaurant recommendations. Loved having coffee available. Would stay here again.

Room was small and a bit cramped. It was more an Airbnb than a hotel. Small difficulty reaching host by phone to arrange to meet to get keys.

The apartment is in close proximity to wonderful shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. It is quiet and comfortable after a long day of sight seeing. Hervè is a welcoming host and shared many recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in Rouen.

Location is fantastic, walking distance to everything in the center. The host was nice and there when I arrived to hand over the keys, room was big enough. Room to the backyard, still bright, would have been so quiet without the noise from the neighbour room. Bed was comfortable, not the problem. I was probably just unlucky with the neighbour room.

WIFI is not great, it disconnects you all the time and you have to fill in your details again and again. Not suitable for work. Everything was quite clean, but the floor needs a good washing, my feet were black after walking there for a few minutes after showering. Noisy neighbours kept me awake.

Very well located ( for visit, eat or a walk), very clean, good shower, and the host is really friendly and have good recommendations to eat or to visit.

A bit warm but It's not the owner's fault

The owner was great from the very beginning! We had a minor change in plans, and he accommodated us. We arrived in the morning and he agreed to meet us and let us drop off our luggage. That turned into letting us stay at the apartment right away because it was free and ready. That alone helped us a ton! Communication was quick and easy. We let him know we had arrived and he came right away. We waited at the cafe across the street for only a few minutes. The room is very cozy, with plenty of space and storage. There's tea and coffee in the room (no kitchen or sink or microwave). The bathroom is spacious and the shower is great. The bed is very comfortable. The room is one floor up by stairs, but that isn't a problem for us. The location is excellent, right in the heart of old Rouen.

We liked everything!!

The host was fantastic, he was easy to contact and very flexible with our arrival time. He met us at the accomodation to show us through our room, he gave us some recommendations for around the city.
