Absolutely superb stay, the hotel is well placed for a stopover on the journey from Calais to the Gironde Estuary. Staff were attentive from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. They were happy to accept our ageing Welsh Terrier, which was one of the reasons for choosing the hotel. The room was large, with superb bathroom facilities too. We ate dinner in the restaurant, as soon as we sat down bread and olives arrived and drinks order was taken. They arrived quickly, as well as a cold bottle of water and glasses. Food was taken, which again, arrived in good time and was delicious. We all slept well, including our dog, the room seemed well soundproofed. The buffet breakfast was also very good, a lot of choice and plenty of it. We checked out easily and the price for one night including our dinner, breakfast is already included, was good value. There is also a LeClerc 2 mins away where we were able to get petrol and sandwiches for our lunch before setting off on the next stage of our journey. Highly recommended, we will be returning I am sure as it is extremely convenient and makes for an easy pleasant stopover.

The hotel is well sign posted and easy to find. The car parking was great. The staff were without exception very helpful and pleasant 10/10. The evening meal and breakfast were both of good quality. The restaurant is very good.

The hotel itself is pretty shabby and in a serious need of a refurbishment. This is why it didn't meet my expectations. However, to be fair our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I believe it is going to be upgraded next year.

The staff were great. I arrived at the end of a nine hour drive and they couldn't do enough to help. Friendly & patient. Offered me a long cold water on arrival. Fantastic.

There was nothing to actively dislike. It's a standard Ibis hotel, so you know what you're getting. Parts of it are looking a little tired now, but it's good value for money.

Perfect place to continue journey next day. Easy to find. Good facilities and comfy bed. Excellent breakfast so much choice.

Couldn’t find anything to really dislike. Only thing disappointed with was the evening meal. Both our meals were very poor which was a shame.

I booked the room at 19.30 in the evening, and we could stay there the same night. The people at reception were great, spoke English and we even could have dinner there that evening. I also liked the big and free parking space. Breakfast was fine, the room was fine and the overall service was fine.

Checking in was easy. Also booked for an evening meal on arrival which was extremely good. Breakfast too was great.

The room was ok. The bathroom was clean and looked relatively new. However the actual room could have done with some TLC as it looked a bit bashed about. Also the decor was quite drab. Also it is the first time I have stayed in a hotel room that did not provide tea and coffee making facilities which to be honest made me not want to book again.

The location is superb, close to N154 but very quiet. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, good food.

There was an additional single bed made up in our room which restricted the space considerably. It would have been much better without it ! Very minor point, the tv would be better situated on the wall opposite the bed rather than on a low shelf to the side.

Staff friendly and welcoming and helpful. Good value and close enough to main routes to continue journey next day. Restaurant good for basic meals and good breakfast. Rooms are basic but, comfortable.

Could do with Coffee/Tea making facility in room even if it cost slightly extra.

We liked the large room which provided lots of space to move around. Appreciated the private parking space. Food was fine. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast provided a good range of choices.

We certainly needed our SatNav to find it. No tea making facilities in our room.

Close to the ring road around Chartres. Very good breakfast. Useful overnight stop en route to Calais.

Difficult to find from the main road. More signposts needed to find the car park.
