The hotel looks lovely in the photos we did have sercure parking we booked it online but the hotel didn't receive our email but the lovely lady on reception gave us a secure parking spot. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is right in the middle of everything

The room was nice but a little small but the bathroom was tiny we were on the second floor plug sockets were hard to get to unless you moved some furniture

Very near to the cathedral and other attractions. Beautiful and comfortable room with view of the cathedral. Nice furniture. Excellent breakfast. In-house bar and restaurant. Private parking. Great cordiality and sympathy.

Very helpful and friendly staff, the restaurant was excellent, would eat there again even if we weren't staying at the hotel. the room was comfortable with a good view of the cathedral. The location to the centre of town is only a short walk away. The use of the private parking is a must and it was only 80m away from the hotel.

The ensuite bathroom in the room was a little cramped, could have done with a little more space.

The room and bathroom are small - but not a problem because who wants to spend a long time in your room when the city and cathedral are so beautiful?

We asked for and paid extra for rooms with Cathedral view for the nightly illuminations. Our rooms were exceptional as far as the view went. We had a bullseye view of the Cathedral all the time, and during the nighttime illuminations, we were able to view the festivities for over an hour after we returned to our rooms. This hotel was beyond our expectations and I have been recommending it to all those I tell about my trip. The staff was cordial, taking our bags when we arrived before check-in time and keeping our bags after we checked out but still had two hours before train time. They acted like they were happy to accommodate us.

Nothing could have been better

Great location as a base to explore the town. Restaurant is on site but a separate business to the hotel but great food choices and attentive staff. We stayed 2 nights and both nights the weather was beautiful so could eat dinner outside to enjoy the live entertainment, pianist and singer/guitarist.

The view was the main reason for choosing this hotel and it didn't disappoint. We didn't book the breakfast but decided to have it on the spur of the moment. It was way above the normal buffet affair - not quite "full English" but eggs and toast were available for self-preparation

The only very minor issue was the location of the shower-head - across the bath - so use of the curtain was essential.

Location is perfect and I had a beautiful view of the cathedral. Room was lovely and clean. Restaurant on site was excellent. Nice professional staff.

Booking indicated room had air conditioning, but it was more like an air circulating fan. Heat had broken, so I slept with window open and was fine. Elevator was broken, so had to carry bags up 4 flights, but they did offer to have someone help me. Elevator was fixed and back running when I checked out. But I would still highly recommend unless it's really hot out.

Lovely hotel, well located and with free parking a short walk from the hotel. We had a lovely room which overlooked the cathedral. Staff were very helpful and provided us with any information we needed. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice, lovely cheeses, breads, meats, cereals, fruit etc.

Room a little small and without air conditioning. Fan supplied in room helped. Shower room bijou. Car parking away from hotel, not far.
