The location is excellent: just a couple of minutes from the railway station and 5-10 minutes from the cathedral. My room (213) was very peaceful which meant that I could sleep very well. Staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful.
The breakfast buffet was a little bit disappointing. I expected much better cheese in France! I think that the cheese slices on offer were pretty tasteless. A kettle in the bedroom would have been a welcome extra. One negative thing: they are not happy if you arrive early! I had exactly the same experience at the Campanile in Limoges. They will reluctantly let you leave your luggage. Otherwise no major complaints.

Our room had a small balcony that opened up to a beautiful view of the Cathedral. I had seen the photo of this vista online and asked if we could get that room. They said they would try- and they did! Breathtaking! The rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. The staff was very kind and helpful. We arrived early and left late and they accommodated us by keeping our luggage without charge. The hotel is about 6-8 min walk to the Cathedral and it was lovely to just meander through the beautiful streets, grab a coffee and enjoy the ambiance. At night we were able to see the light show projected onto the Cathedral- very pretty and unusual!
Nothing- everything was wonderful

The location. The ability to park in a secure carpark ( €8)
The receptionist was very haughty. Both receptionists were chatting when I arrived and totally ignored me. It was only when I said "bonjour " that they acknowledged me. It was a very hot day. Despite the A/C control working in our room , the AC didn't work. After inquiring, we were told the A/C was not activated until July. ( we were offered a fan). Perhaps some information in the room regarding this would have been helpful! The hotel info said there was a coffee bar available. We tried to use the coffee machine in the breakfast room. Despite apparently being in function mode, we could not get it to work to obtain a coffee. The frosty receptionist informed us it could only be used at breakfast time and there was a charge for it. Again, an explanatory note would have been helpful!

Great hotel, location fabulous. Modern Room. Initial staff check in good. Secure parking reasonable priced accommodation . Separate toilet to bathroom great. Lighting in bathroom good
Breakfast not a great selection but adequate. Coffee machine broken but no advice to say that it was broken. Only worked for certain coffee. Hairdryer not so good. This accommodation would get a 9 if it weren't for the staff on in the morning. If you don't want to be in hospitality then look for other jobs. I felt like I was a nuisance and morning staff were definitely not interested in us as guests.

Central location was perfect for walking to the town. The receptionist was friendly and spoke excellent English but because I spoke in not so fluent french she respected that I was trying and spoke back in french. Which I appreciated! Room was clean and bed was comfy. Pillows were too hard for me but I'm quite fussy! Shower was good and powerful. Usb ports were useful. Plenty of plug sockets. Nice view of the street Parking underground was convenient and only €8.50 for the night. Breakfast was €12.90 but we didn't have time to have it. Maybe next time!

My partner & I stay here regularly after travelling from UK to Dieppe, or on the way back. Rooms are clean. Staff are friendly. We like the secure car park, although you pay extra for it & can't reserve a spot. However, we have always got a spot. Hotel is minutes from the beautiful cathedral, great shops etc..Chartres is a lovely city.
As i say each time, please give each guest a hand towel. We may not want to share. Bathroom toiletries could be improved. That's it!

Rather congested in accessing foods. There was NO cold milk available- even on request- for the cereals. There were no pots of plain yoghurt only sweetened fruit yoghurt. Plain yoghurt was only available in a big open bowl but with flies around this was not palatable.
No hair drier in the bedroom. I had to request one and afterwards return it at reception . No kettle / no coffee or tea making facilities in bedroom.

The location was central and within walking distance of most places in the old town. The car parking was behind a locked gate and very secure. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The guy who checked us in spoke very good English. Our twin room was larger than we expected, not 'huge' large but more spacious than we expected for the price, it had a lovely shower and french door windows which looked out over the car park and cathedral. Breakfast was buffet style, plentiful, varied and delicious!
This is exceptionally picky (but for the sake of filling in this field) we had a set of electric sockets in the room which did not work.

Great staff. Really clean throughout. had a very nice room with good water flow and hot shower. Breakfast was a well stocked and presented. (even had scrabbled eggs and French bacon) Minimal food available (Snaking) with Bar, however good restaurant at the end of road (2 mins walk) see notice in reception
Better instructions regarding parking (police were not going to allow me access to road, despite notice stating "access allowed for residents - then a bit of dodgy parking in road moment, when i had to leave car and enter building to ask to have gate opened ) No tea or coffee making faculties in room. not sure other guests or staff going to be happy with my in underpants going down 3 floors for a morning coffee.

Staff and hotel is excellent. Only thing this time was the musty / damp smell in the room. Not sure if was aircon or room itself. Aircon not the greatest but we will continue to stay going forward.
