The room was really nice with a great view and the bed was very comfortable. It had a separate toilet and shower room with heated mirrors etc. The breakfast was lovely with an array of different choice's. The staff were very helpful too.

The room was really cold at times despite putting the heating to the maximum temperature. The wallpaper was peeling in our room. The bar never had staff there despite the reception telling us the bar was open which wasn't great. The surfaces needed a wipe down as they were dusty

Parking on site, a spacious and comfortable room -plus bathroom, The breakfast had a good choice of food. Lifts gave access to the upper floors. Tea and coffee making facilities. Air conditioning. A 5minute journey to the car ferry.

Milk should be made available in the bedroom for hot drinks. Getting to the hotel in Cherbourg was a nightmare. There was no signage from the main road nearby indicating a right turn leading to the hotel It was only sign-posted on arrival at the hotel! Other hotels had signage. The combination of roadworks and one-way systems meant we spent almost an hour getting to it even though we could see it and had GPS!!

Modern clean comfortable hotel in a good location with a nice view of the port. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were very quiet.

We had booked two dinners for our stay but it was a limited menu and the same menu on both nights which was very disappointing as it was not mentioned on the booking website. We won’t be pre booking meals again

Lovely hotel and very close to ferry port. Really nice rooms with comfortable bed. Lovely views of port from room. Friendly staff.

The restaurant for dinner let the hotel down a bit. We had a drink in the bar before dinner which was lovely and the starters we ordered were good. The main courses were disappointing. Fish was uncooked and cold at the centre and the presentation of both course didn’t align with the rest of the experiment of the hotel. Breakfast the following morning was good.

Hotel is new and the room was bigger than expected. Great location right by the canal. Has a secure parking in the back, accessible only to hotels' guests, but if one arrives very late, may not find a space. Good restaurant and bar.

The town has few restaurants and looked dead despite the fact that it was Saturday evening. And all restaurants were booked in advance or pretended to be (many bearing "Complet" signs in their front doors to even discourage people from asking if anyone cancelled). I found very hard to believe that no table was available for 2 people. So we ended up at the hotel's restaurant after wasting almost 2 hours going in circles looking for an available place to eat. Either book table in advance or eat at the hotel's restaurant.

Breakfast was very basic. Not bad in any way but the selection could have been much better. I missed some different types of ham and normal sliced cheese. Free parking also which was a nice surprise.

In general, the hotel was really good. It's a small hotel and a little bit too the "budget" area so it's a kind of "you get what you pay for". I had a fair and joyful stay.

great part of town

We booked this hotel on Booking.Com , in the notes we asked for a high floor room with views , Booking.com confirm the hotel had seen our message and confirmed our request , sadly on arrival we were given a room on the 3rd floor with OK views to the side , we will go back but next time we will ring the hotel direct for confirmation of what part of the hotel our room is in , the beds are comfortable and the bar area on the ground floor is modern and there is outside sitting space

Ideal for an overnight stop before catching the ferry home. Even has a supermarket opposite to pick up last minute purchases.

We booked half board to simplify eating arrangements but initially given wrong menu. The restaurant staff were pleasant but seemed a little confused and lacked real leadership.

Excellent, modern hotel. Extremely polite and helpful staff. Superb facilities and very pleasing room with a harbour view. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast was extremely good too.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. This is a very managed and well appointed hotel.

We liked the location, staff were very helpful, room perfectly adequate and breakfast excellent. Perfect spot for those catching/arriving on the ferry.

Perhaps auto provision of a rubber mat to put in the bath for those using the shower. I had to ask which is unusual in hotels.
