Central location and easy parking. Bedroom was spacious with lots of power points. Little extras (refillable carafe - iced water always available) put the icing on the cake. Breakfast was EXCELLENT!! Lots of choice, spacious and bright breakfast area. I had stayed here before but had forgotten how good it is. Staff all welcoming. Easy check-in and check-out. I had paid in advance (for bed and breakfast) which meant I only had to pay the city taxes when I left. Felt like a very good deal! Also , the price I paid was excellent value for money. If in Cherbourg in the future, I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. Thank you to everyone.

It was no problem to get a gluten free breakfast option. There was also a choice of non dairy milk options. The staff were very friendly, everyone we met from the reception staff to the breakfast servers. Location was great, a 20min walk with our bags, from the train station where the shuttle bus leaves for the ferry. Also the hotel is at the marina and lovely a stroll after dinner. Also, I liked that each room door had a lovely picture wrap on them.

Nothing. It was perfect for our one night stay before getting the ferry. But I would return and spent a longer time exploring the Cherbourg region.

Having stayed at this hotel several times over the years we were happy to book again for one night prior to our ferry crossing the next evening. As ever, it was very clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast options were excellent. Located by the very popular Port Plaisance/marina area, a short walk from the restaurants, brasseries and shops in the town centre, it is ideal for pedestrians to leave their cars in the vicinity of the hotel where public parking is free. A very pleasant experience and a highly recommended hotel for a short stopover or even as a base to explore Cherbourg and Cotentin.

Having arrived late, we had a slight problem locating somewhere to park , with a circus in full swing in the distance attracting many vehicles. Otherwise, nothing, it was perfect and we will return!

We liked the location and that there are some interesting historical places to explore. The town centre is a pleasant walk nearby, and there are nice restaurants and bars to enjoy. We enjoyed our short stay very much. We look forward to visiting the town centre again especially when the paving is finished. One very important thing for us was that the people were very friendly. That always leaves a nice memory.

We can’t think of anything, maybe the road signage to the Irish ferry terminal could be better.

Great harbourside location within easy walking distance of the centre of old Cherbourg. Plenty of safe public car parking. A corporate style hotel with a spacious room. We've stayed here before due to its short drive to the ferry port and several shopping centres.

No tea and coffee making facilities in room and restaurant closed in the evening (though we were aware of this in the hotel description and there were plenty of local eateries open). WIFI log on asked for a lot of unnecessary personal information!

Check-in was smooth with friendly service. Location was excellent, near to port but still close to town. Nice green areas around. Breakfast was tasty and fresh with good selection.

Plenty of free parking around the hotel but not secure. Assuming you use this as a stop-off on your way to/from somewhere you may have a full roof-box. Not a dislike as such but worth noting there is no lift so anyone with mobility issues might find it difficult if allocated a 1st floor room rather than on Ground floor (this is mentioned in Hotel accessibility details).

We paid a little extra for an upgraded room and were very pleased with it - it was bigger and had a great view of the marina. The location is good too, the staff were excellent and as it's away from the roads, it's quite quiet while still being close enough to walk into the city centre. The breakfast was also very fresh with lots of choice.

It would be nice if the rooms had a mini fridge, more international TV channels and the option for an evening meal would have been helpful for anyone with mobility issues.

The location is brilliant for the ferry port. As a bonus, it is also a very attractive spot. The hotel is beautifully maintained, including the surrounding gardens. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent value with a wide choice on offer. Add free parking and being close to some good local restaurants and there is nothing to fault it.

Everything was 10/10

It's a 2-storey modernist building, with a garden at the back. The reception area was clean & tidy, I didn't eat there but the dining area looked very well run. The room was spotless, spacious and well equipped - shower room, separate WC, big windows, lots of lighting options, USB chargers, desk, TV and a fridge. The staff were really friendly & helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. I'll definitely stay here if I'm in Cherbourg again.

There wasn't anything to dislike.

Check-in was very fast and efficient - and friendly. The room was plain but very roomy. Breakfast was ample with a good selection of hot and cold and cereals and coffee on demand - no waiting for refills. The breakfast room looked out on a pleasant little garden. The hotel was very quiet and beside a pleasant marina. It was reasonably close to the quayfront restaurants and beside the cathedral. It was open 24 hours.

Probably the worst thing is there is no lift, although it is a low-rise hotel and the staff will carry luggage up to your room. The room itself had bars of soap and a shampoo dispenser but no moisturising cream, shower cap or hair conditioner. There is no public transport available at all in the area and taxis, which were an absolute disaster in Cherbourg, took 20 minutes to arrive after being called. Reception gave us a long speech about how this was due to the bridge being up but we had just walked over the bridge and it was down! You really need a car to stay in this hotel. The 'luggage room' was a cupboard already full with no lock or security check on the bags being taken away.
